Programme Description
Blackstone's Summer Analyst Program is a 10 week in-person experience, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone's culture.

- Real Estate Acquisitions
- Real Estate Asset Management
- Real Estate Capital Markets
- Real Estate Core+

Real Estate Acquisitions
Blackstone’s Real Estate Acquisitions Group focuses on originating, underwriting and executing real estate investment opportunities. As a Summer Analyst you will get a holistic exposure to the real estate private equity investment process and become part of deal teams working on the acquisition of real estate companies, portfolios and individual properties across multiple asset classes and throughout Europe.
Summer Analyst work may include:
- Conducting financial analysis and market research to formulate new investment theses
- Preparing valuation analyses, LBO models, memos and presentations for ongoing investment opportunities
- Assisting in the due diligence, negotiation, execution, financing and structuring of live transactions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Asset Management, Legal & Compliance, and Capital Markets (among others)
- Attending site tours, internal and external meetings, as well as due diligence and expert sessions
- Preparing and presenting a view on the key drivers, risks, and opportunities of a potential transaction
Real Estate Asset Management
Blackstone’s Real Estate Asset Management Group (‘AM’) leads all post-acquisition investment activities. AM’s investment professionals oversee the full lifecycle of an investment, including setting business plans, identifying value creation opportunities and executing transactions to monetize an investment.
Summer Analyst work may include modelling and presentations to support core AM activities:
- Building portfolio companies to manage operational real estate
- Collaborating with portfolio company senior management to set business plans and drive performance
- Conducting market research and analysing value creation initiatives (e.g. capital expenditure projects)
- Execute transactions such as refinancings, recapitalizations and dispositions (including public IPOs and private
Real Estate Capital Markets
Blackstone’s Real Estate Capital Markets Group (‘CM’) leads on all debt capital initiatives for our real estate investments. A summer analyst within the CM team will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of financing real estate investments from a variety of debt capital sources, including public market debt and equity transactions, securitizations, private market secured and unsecured credit deals.
Summer Analyst work may include:
- Conduct financial analysis, modelling, and market research to support financing transactions and competitive analysis.
- Prepare internal company presentations, reports, and marketing materials to solicit financing feedback.
- Collaborate with Acquisitions and Asset Management teams to provide guidance on pricing and terms of financing.
- Assist with the negotiation and execution of financing transactions.
Real Estate Core+
Blackstone’s Real Estate Core+ Group focuses on strategy and management of Blackstone Property Partners Europe (€8B NAV) and Blackstone European Property Income Fund (€1.4B NAV). Summer Analysts in the Real Estate Core+ team will work as part of a small, dedicated team focused on the ongoing management of the funds, including transaction execution, client meetings and marketing, as well as general fund management, portfolio management, and operational matters.
Summer Analyst work may include:
- Collaborate with acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management, capital markets, finance, and ICS teams on all aspects of the Core+ business.
- Support due diligence, tax structuring, debt and hedging strategies, and prepare investor materials.
- Monitor the acquisition pipeline, investment results, and portfolio performance relative to portfolio objectives.
- Track operating and financial data for Core+ assets, maintain liquidity analysis, and update fund models.
- Assist with quarterly reporting to LPs, marketing materials, and stakeholder presentations.
- Interface with internal teams, including fund operations, accounting, legal, tax, and compliance.
Qualifications

To be considered for the 2026 Summer Analyst Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or masters student
- Anticipated graduation date: Summer 2027
- CV must include expected graduation month/year and grade
