Responsibilities:

  • Investor servicing specialist for 1031 exchange program including client relationship management and operational and trade support
  • Drive the pre-trade lifecycle, including connecting responsible parties while multitasking across multiple deliverables prior to fund closes
  • Identify and exercise best practices for operational process to create an excellent client experience
  • Onboard new intermediaries including insurance companies, transfer agents, and others as needed
  • Spearhead the integration of transfer agent, counsel, and internal stakeholders to efficiently launch new products
  • Project manage and spearhead communications to create successful collaboration across various business functions
  • Hands-on approach to all aspects of project management, including: Data gathering, documentation, use case development, Training plan development and execution and communications with business stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of financial industry experience
  • Series 7 and Series 63 (or equivalent)
  • Proficient understanding in all aspects of a 1031 Exchange– including structure, tax, investment process, etc.
  • Strong consultative, interpersonal skills
  • Discuss complex issues in a straightforward manner
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through to resolve issues
  • Outstanding collaboration skills in order to work with product specialists, sales and advisors to deliver advantageous tax solutions for high-net-worth clients
  • Highly organized with a strong work ethic; works efficiently while managing competing priorities including long-term projects and ad hoc requests

Expected annual base salary range:

$145,000 - $160,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
