Job Description:
While the fund is global and industry agnostic, the team in San Francisco is exclusively focused on the technology sector. This role provides a unique opportunity to support a small investment team based in San Francisco pursuing opportunities across the software and internet landscape.
The Administrative Assistant role entails providing comprehensive administrative support to a Senior Managing Director and co-head of the San Francisco team within Blackstone’s Private Equity Group, and a few other members of the PE team. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Complex calendar management including scheduling internal and external appointments, confirming meetings, coordinating with other assistants, prioritizing and managing scheduling conflicts
Arranging domestic and international travel including flights, visas/passports, cars, hotels, and other reservations
Booking conference rooms for internal and external meetings, meeting and greeting guests, registering guests in the visitor system
Managing and completing expense reports including tracking receipts and reimbursements
Serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional communication
On-site coordination for visiting senior professionals from other Blackstone offices
Answering calls and acting as a gatekeeper
Acting as back-up support for other senior professionals
Coordinating team and office-wide events as needed
Qualifications:

The successful candidate should meet the following qualifications:
10+ years of administrative assistant experience
Strong communication skills; high EQ
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Effectively multi-tasks and prioritizes competing tasks and deadlines
Proactive, resourceful, and works well both independently and collaboratively
Perform duties with confidentiality and professional integrity
Experience with coordinating travel arrangements
An independent worker with strong follow-through skills
Effectively builds and maintains positive working relationships across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
Familiarity with Concur is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Expected annual base salary range:
$70,000 - $130,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
