Job Description:

The BXCI Finance Transformation Lead will provide support to BXCI and Finance leadership by scoping, launching, overseeing, and driving a portfolio of technology and process improvement projects. The Transformation Lead will generally support business leaders taking their ideas to execution and implementation. Projects will include systems overhauls, feature development and roll-out, process overhauls, data integrity and governance improvements, and reporting development, among other finance and operational requirements. Projects will drive a wide range of positive business impacts.

The role will report through the CFO office for BXCI, but work across with BXCI Finance, BXCI Operations and Blackstone Technology and Innovation (BXTI).

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with subject matter experts across finance to turn process or system improvements into concrete project charters and BRDs
  • Documenting existing processes via workflows, process maps, and deliverable mappings
  • Determining appropriate technology solutions for project needs alongside BXTI
  • Developing and manage key milestones for each project alongside stakeholder groups across BX
  • Interface with finance to discern impact to budget and develop ROI for each project
  • Developing long-term project roadmaps across BXCI Finance, linking together project dependencies
  • Socializing short-term and long-term plans to ensure alignment across all stakeholders

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ with travel to NYC 1-2 days per week.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of work experience in operations, technology implementation, or business transformation, preferably among finance or operations functions at an asset manager
  • Strong understanding of asset management trade booking and operations, specifically with various forms of credit
  • Demonstrated understanding of complex processes, systems architecture, mapping, and improving times
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration on cross-functional teams, balancing long-term goals with short-term challenges
  • Strong process mindset: navigate current state processes and build/integrate future-state solutions.
  • Quickly documents current state processes a must.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; Tableau experience an advantage
  • Works well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, handles multiple projects, and manages multiple stakeholders
  • Possesses a strong work ethic, professional integrity, and a positive attitude
  • Effectively transforms raw data into insight for the business
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Expected annual base salary range:

$140,000 - $250,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
