The International Finance is responsible for the financial operations, accounting, control and reporting for the international subsidiaries of Blackstone.

Assistant Vice President
Role Summary:
Blackstone’s International Finance team is seeking an Assistant Vice President to own core accounting processes and end-to-end close and reporting for a portfolio of in-scope APAC House/Fund entities. The role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely statutory and management reporting, coordinating with regional stakeholders and service providers, and driving process improvements and control enhancements to support consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close for assigned APAC entities, including planning timelines, coordinating inputs, performing reviews and escalating issues to ensure accurate, on-time reporting.
Responsible for key accounting processes end-to-end (e.g., intercompany, accruals, allocations, balance sheet substantiation), partnering with Accounts Payable, Payroll, Treasury and Tax etc. to resolve issues and ensure consistent execution across entities.
Manage and develop COE resources, ensuring strong execution quality and continuous capability uplift;
Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting for assigned entities, including process documentation, control execution/monitoring, issue remediation and audit readiness.
Own end-to-end statutory and management reporting, including preparation and review of local GAAP financial statements, variance analysis and clear commentary for stakeholders.
Coordinate tax compliance activities for assigned entities (e.g., corporate income tax, withholding tax, indirect taxes and transfer pricing support), liaising with external advisors and internal stakeholders to meet filing requirements and deadlines.
Coordinate regulatory filings and ad-hoc surveys for assigned APAC jurisdictions, ensuring submissions are accurate, well-supported and completed on schedule.
Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to execute day-to-day deliverables, resolve issues proactively and drive process improvements across entities.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
Chartered Accountant with 9–12 years of progressive financial reporting experience in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in asset and/or fund management industry will be an advantage.
Experience with US GAAP / IFRS / Local GAAP a requirement.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with financial systems/ERPs is an advantage.
Strong technical accounting skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Possesses strong work ethic, sense of accountability and genuine passion for excellence.
