What’s the Role:
The Senior Critical Infrastructure MEP Product Owner will support the critical infrastructure systems within the data centers, node sites, remote and corporate offices. This is a hands-on role for a technical and experienced person. The role will include working alongside the Critical Infrastructure department and coordination with Bloomberg departments including Engineering, Network Operations, Security, News and other internal departments. The role is for a product owner who is committed to continuous improvement, consistent development and has a willingness to travel within the America’s region to support business initiatives.
We’ll Trust You To:
• Experience with the operation and maintenance of Critical Infrastructure and Systems.
• Experience with Project Management of Critical Infrastructure and Systems upgrades, replacements and repairs.
• Experience with the design of MEP systems including engineering calculations and specifications.
• Experience within a critical environment including Utility Systems, UPS Systems, Emergency Generator Systems, Electrical Distribution, Chilled Water Systems, Critical Air Handling / Conditioning Systems, Pre-Action Systems and Fire Alarm / Protection Systems.
• Knowledgeable with Building Automation Systems and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems and Operations.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Systems and Processes.
• Experience and knowledge with documentation techniques including Method of Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Root Cause Analysis and Change Management.
• Well versed in vendor management including training programs and overall staff development
• Coordinate and support Operational Expenditures (OPEX) and Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) projects in critical environments.
• Experience coordinating and managing Ticketing and Reporting Systems.
• Manage change management processes including procedural developments and risk assessments.
• Coordinating and managing communication with all Bloomberg departments including Engineering, Network Operations, Security and other internal departments.
• Experience coordinating and managing budgets and financial governance, outlining all aspects of operations, construction and site development.
• Coordinate and manage the testing and commissioning process to meet the project’s requirements and goals.
• Written and verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Excellent presentation preparation and delivery skills.
• On-call 24x7 for incident management and emergency response.
You’ll Need to Have:
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in Critical Facilities and MEP environments.
• Provide technical recommendations to management and provide technical advice and solutions to cross-functional teams.
• Providing critical facilities maintenance, repair, and service oversight.
• Document technical procedures and system infrastructure designs.
• Collaborate with vendors on projects during implementation and problem resolution.
• Experience with reading and understanding Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Architectural Plans and Specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Maintaining the life cycle management for all facilities hardware.

• Coaching and oversight of employees, vendors, and contractors.
• Proficiency and understanding of Data Center Information Technology (IT) Systems including telecom networks, switches, routers, servers, storage, cabling systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building communication protocols, IP Address and configuration in critical environments.
• Experience with Real Estate leases.
• Sustainability / LEED experience.
