Bloomberg Live Experiences is seeking a seasoned, New York-based Senior Account Executive to help accelerate the growth of our commercial event business across the U.S. In this key role, you'll take ownership of the full event sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach to client consultation, proposal development, closing, and renewals. You’ll partner closely with a team of dedicated event and cross-platform sales professionals to deliver high-value sponsorships and event integrations. This is a consultative, relationship-driven role, ideal for a strategic seller who excels at cultivating trust, expanding existing client partnerships, and unlocking new business opportunities.
Join Bloomberg Live Experiences (BLE) to drive revenue and build lasting client relationships through dynamic, high-impact event partnerships. You will lead strategic outreach efforts, champion the Bloomberg value proposition, and help shape memorable event experiences that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
  • New Business Development: Proactively identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with potential clients to generate new event sponsorship opportunities.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Engage clients and stakeholders with insightful questions to uncover business needs and tailor event solutions accordingly.
  • Value Proposition Communication: Articulate Bloomberg’s unique market position and event offering to drive client interest and deal closure.
  • Client Experience Management: Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring a premium, white-glove experience from proposal through post-event wrap-up.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to seamlessly execute event deliverables and exceed client expectations.
  • Revenue Growth: Manage renewals and upsells to expand client partnerships and support long-term growth across BLE and Bloomberg’s broader ecosystem.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in event sales or a closely related field
  • Proven track record of revenue growth through consultative sales
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (MediaCloud preferred), Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Slack—or a quick learner of new tools
  • Excellent presentation skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
