Bloomberg Intelligence ("BI") conducts in-depth research on large and midsize companies to help stock and bond investors effectively evaluate those companies. We analyze the unique attributes of each business, how it competes against other companies in its industry and how the business strategies and successes translate into financial results.

Our analysts also research the technology, regulation, litigation and economies that will shape the environment for these companies and the related industry impact.

BI research is a combination of written analysis accompanied by interactive charting and analytics created from company reported data as well as industry and government data. Analysts review, check and curate this data into comprehensive and logically arranged dashboards to support their own research and to provide Bloomberg Terminal users a platform to view and analyze the data as well.

BI is looking for a highly motivated research analyst focusing on datacenters. Our Datacenter Research part of the global tech team provides differentiated coverage of public and pre-IPO companies focused on AI datacenter, networking and co packaged optics opportunity. A good understanding of training vs inferencing clusters for different type of workloads would be a plus! You will be entrusted to deliver high quality and timely content while also growing our data offering.

We'll trust you to:

• Leverage your knowledge of semiconductor and hardware companies to actively build industry and company investment research on a regular basis
• Be a subject matter expert in global tech supply chain analysis and quantify the exposures of various semiconductor and hardware companies
• Monitor, interpret and react to major company developments, and identify macro themes and trends affecting investments in the region
• Manage earnings cycle, including previews and reviews
• Work closely with the global Tech coverage manager to coordinate and collaborate on analysis
• Develop and maintain relationships with investors, industry and market professionals, investor relations personnel, and senior management at target companies
• Participate and initiate marketing events like webinars, round-tables and conferences to commercialize research ideas
• Work with Global Data teams to ensure data completeness and quality control for existing and new data sets of target companies

You'll need to have:

• At least 5 years of equity research experience specializing in the tech sector preferably semiconductors
• Experience interpreting financial statements and financial modelling
• Knowledge of sophisticated concepts, practices, and procedures of finance and accounting
• Outstanding primary research and writing skills
• Self-starter, entrepreneurial thinker and collaborative team player
• Strong organization skills, and capable of handling multiple projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and other Asian languages for regional and China market coverage
• Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
