Product Manager - Content Acquisition
Bloomberg
Bloomberg runs on data, and in Data we're responsible for acquiring and providing it to our clients. We collect, model, analyze, and publish data which is the backbone of the Bloomberg Terminal. We apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative workflow efficiencies, and we implement solutions to enhance our systems, products and processes- all while delivering advanced insights to our clients. We’re responsible for delivering this data, news and analytics through innovative technology - quickly and accurately.
Our Team
Our Content Acquisition (CA) owns the acquisition of data contributed to Bloomberg from third-party providers, data partners, and institutions to ensure our products reflect the most comprehensive and relevant information available. CA’s mission is to be the data partner of choice by encouraging trusted, two-way relationships and delivering impactful outcomes through scalable access to high-value content.
Within CA, our Operations team is responsible for driving a culture of excellence, empowering Content Acquisition and our key stakeholders to perform at their best and achieve unparalleled results. We strive to partner across these teams to enable them to scale their efforts, mitigate risk, and ultimately deliver transformative value to internal and external customers.

- Define success metrics, run experiments and A/B tests, and iterate based on user behavior and feedback
- Promote a product culture where insights are discoverable, contextual, and actionable
Drive execution & delivery
- Translate vision into executable stories, collaborating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement
- Align stakeholders across functions, influence at all levels, and build trust with technical and non-technical partners
- Balance short-term priorities with long-term bets scaling what works and sunsetting what doesn’t
Enable cross-product collaboration
- Collaborate with other PMs to identify cross-cutting opportunities, share best practices, and create leverageable components
- Partner with insights teams to identify knowledge gaps and build a deeper understanding of internal user needs
- Define and drive strategic improvements in customer support and internal touchpoints via BI-enhanced workflows
You’ll need to have:

- Proven ability to turn strategy into roadmap, and roadmap into measurable business and user outcomes
- Deep empathy for users, operational teams, and cross-functional delivery
- Working knowledge of Business Process Modelling & Mapping, Scaled Agile Framework, and prioritization methodologies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to synthesize detail into clarity
- A bold, creative mindset that isn’t afraid to challenge assumptions or propose new ways of working
