Electronic Trading Solutions unites all of Bloomberg’s cross-asset electronic trading platforms into one business, delivering trading solutions and analytics to both our Buy-side and Sell-side clients. Our solutions are an integral part of the Bloomberg network, allowing our clients to seamlessly stage, monitor, trade, clear, allocate and perform TCA all on one platform. In addition to capturing workflow, securing terminals, and growing our franchise market share, we offer many revenue-generating solutions that integrate with Bloomberg and non-Bloomberg OMS solutions, across the financial market.

What’s the role?
Bloomberg's Electronic Trading Solutions team sells various solutions for Fixed Income e-trading and workflow automation, as well as work with other enterprise sales teams to cross sell Bloomberg’s entire suite of products. As an ETS Account Manager focusing on Fixed Income buy-side clients, you will be responsible for managing and growing our Electronic Trading franchise across our platforms. This is primarily accomplished by building deep, value-focused relationships with clients, and engaging with them on ways they can grow and advance their business by partnering with Bloomberg for their trading, automation, and analysis needs.
Client Service Account Managers are expected to manage a book of clients and to develop a deep understanding of their business, workflows and Electronic Trading needs. The goals are to increase adoption, maximize trading volumes, trading protocols and the client experience.

We will trust you to:
  • Manage relationships within our client base by proactively engaging with and meeting clients through relationship management, and client service activities
  • Build an in-depth understanding around our client workflow to solve and offer alternative solutions to problems that arises throughout the life of a trade
  • Acquire detailed knowledge of our products to better position our offering and directly impact sales
  • Anticipate our client's future need/issues and come up with preemptive measures
  • Develop a market through community building initiatives with key industry players from market participants, policy makers, and industry associations
  • Use your strong communication and presentation skills to build strong relationships with clients, including senior-level stakeholders
  • Use your project management skills to coordinate product initiatives regionally, including but not limited to taking on product advocacy as well as drive product improvement by providing feedback to Bloomberg's business managers and product development teams on user demand and evolving market practices
  • Employ best use of our flat corporate structure to network across various departments, calling on specific expertise and promote collaboration to deliver solutions to our clients
You will need to have:
  • 4+ years of client support experience in a front office trading or financial markets technology company
  • Experience supporting financial trading technology solutions, in a client services or client support role
  • Work experience in Fixed Income over-the-counter workflows, especially electronic trading
  • A track record supporting enterprise technology solutions, particularly to Buy-side financial institutions, Asset Managers and/or Insurance companies
  • Established track record of both relationship management and client support, covering clients in markets including, but not limited to Singapore and South-East Asia
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and grow a market by nurturing community and networks, including PMs and Traders
  • Knowledge of electronic trading, execution management systems and trading connectivity tools
  • Strong understanding of the impact of regulation, market structure and compliance on electronic trading
  • An ability to be resourceful, possess problem solving skills and have a strong "can do" attitude
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bachelor’s degree or degree-equivalent qualifications
  • Ability to travel
