BloombergNEF is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented contractor to support our team in a hybrid role that combines administrative coordination with entry-level data analysis. This individual will be responsible for handling a range of manually intensive yet business-critical tasks that require accuracy, consistency, and strong analytical thinking. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and comfortable working with structured processes, repetitive tasks, and content management workflows.
A background in law, commodities, data analysis, agile frameworks, and/or the Bloomberg Terminal is highly beneficial, though not required.

- Perform manual tasks such as story coding, staff page updates, data audits and data organization, ensuring high precision and adherence to internal guidelines.
- Audit and compare Terminal content against web content, identifying discrepancies and escalating issues as needed.
- Update and maintain staff pages with complete accuracy and timely execution.
- Track, maintain, and analyze BEVO statistics in Excel to support business strategy reporting.
- Assist with data governance processes, documenting legal assessments and adherence to policies, monitoring data quality issues, and raising concerns promptly.
Documentation & Communication
- Prepare clear, well-structured sprint review slides summarizing team activities and progress.
- Create and maintain documentation for JIRA tickets, ensuring all workflow steps and requirements are accurately captured, including that all necessary tickets are generated and any product or business decisions have been documented.
- Produce explainer materials for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Analysts, ADSK) to support product understanding and adoption.
- Draft initial versions of descriptive language for help pages, marketing materials, documentation, and labels.
Administrative Support
- Organize meetings, and coordinate timelines and logistics for team members and cross-functional partners.
- Support general administrative needs, ensuring processes run smoothly and tasks are completed on schedule (keep track of the to-do list)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to error-free work, especially in repetitive or highly structured tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and maintain accurate records.
- Strong written communication skills and comfort drafting clear, concise content.
- Proficiency with Excel (sorting/filtering, pivot tables, basic formulas) and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn new internal tools and workflows quickly.
- Comfortable working independently, following detailed instructions, and raising questions when clarity is needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal
- Background or coursework in law, commodities, business, or data analysis.
- Ability to code in SQL and/or Python
- Experience using JIRA, Miro, or other project management/documentation tools.
- Prior experience supporting content auditing, data governance, or quality assurance processes.
