Workplace Operations & Supply Chain, through our services and applications are dedicated to providing an employee experience that drives innovation, collaboration, productivity, and transparency. Our Global Employee Operations Team is central in this effort by providing platinum support to nearly 21,000 employees and more than 500,000 annual visitors in more than 170 state of the art offices around the world.
We are a close-knit, hardworking team made up of: Facility Managers, Movers and Mobile Technology representatives. Each of these groups rely upon a complex set of proprietary and third-party systems to deliver the services we provide; and those systems are the key to understanding where we are doing our jobs well, and where we can develop.
For example, our 21,000 employees generate more than 320,000 service requests each year through a ticketing system that drives both human and automated services—from software download to a Desktop dispatch. With the ever growing workforce we oversee an average of 7,000 moves annually, handling approximately 400+ software titles, as well as monitoring our entire corporate network that consists of 28,000 PCs, 50,000 screen displays and 120,000 network connections.
Responsibilities include managing all Facilities managed spaces (FSM) and the functions they host. This includes regular site inspections to ensure the space is clean, functioning, and auditing of third party vendors’ performance on room setup, space management and RSRV bookings, coordination of all setups, operational coordination between trades, catering, and our internal clients, and creation of production schedules. This is a 5 days in the office role.
We’ll Trust you to:
• Operate effectively in a hands-on role as well as being a strategic, leader and “operational glue” between all of our service partners: security, facilities, supply chain, marketing, A/V, and our internal clients.
• Build partnerships with cross-functional teams and facilitate interactions across all levels of the business.
• Understand security procedures and policies, and assist to ensure compliance by guests and employees.
• Ability to balance multiple projects/events/activities simultaneously and in an organized manner, with knowledge around agile project methodologies and an ability to prioritize and shift prioritize as needed. Be proactive, preparing for large events well in advance to ensure internal vendor resources are scheduled properly.
• Become a subject matter expert in all things event related, including ticket submission process, room reservation process, and event implementation. Ability to work with engineering teams and communicate new system needs and enhancements.
• Interact with administrative assistants, and their needs with senior level room reservation requests, and event planning services.
• Leverage agile methodologies to develop and implement strategic initiatives that support business operations, move coordinate and drive workplace improvements through using data analytics to support decision making
You’ll need to have:
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience in hospitality
• Awareness of budgetary constraints
• Ability to project manage an event/activity from start to finish
• Attention to detail
• Have familiarity with reading floorplans
• Have problem solving skills and time management
