What Is The Role?
The Senior Control Manager will lead the design and governance of a best-in-class risk and controls program across the Terminal business. You will drive risk assessments, strengthen the control environment, and influence stakeholders at all levels. This role requires an experienced risk professional who can provide strategic guidance, challenge processes, and ensure alignment with risk appetite and operational requirements.

The Senior Control Manager will lead the design and governance of a best-in-class risk and controls program across the Terminal business. This role requires an experienced risk professional who can provide strategic guidance, challenge processes, and ensure alignment with risk appetite and operational requirements.
What You Will Do
Risk Assessment Leadership
- Lead complex risk assessments for high-impact processes.
- Design assessment methodologies, challenge assumptions, and identify emerging risks.
- Ensure consistency and rigor across assessments and deliverables.
- Build and maintain RACMs, KPIs, and control standards.
- Challenge existing policies, procedures, and controls for effectiveness.
- Recommend and implement improvement strategies across teams.
- Lead governance routines and serve as an escalation point for risk and control issues.
- Facilitate management certifications and risk acceptance processes.
- Prepare executive-ready reporting and insights.
- Advise Product, Engineering, Content, and other partners on risk and controls.
- Influence and negotiate remediation strategies and prioritization decisions.
- Communicate complex risks clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor Junior Control Managers and contribute to training and development.
- Help embed a strong risk culture across the organization.
- Partner with the Lead Control Manager on long-term roadmap and strategic initiatives.
- 8–10+ years’ experience in risk management, internal controls, internal audit, or related fields.
- Deep experience with RCSA, internal controls design, operational risk frameworks, or governance.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to synthesize complexity into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive presentation experience.
- Demonstrated judgment in ambiguous, high-impact environments.
- Owner of control design and framework maturity.
- Trusted advisor to leadership with significant business influence.
- Plays a key role in long-term strategy, governance, and organizational risk posture.
- Experience driving control transformation or remediation programs.
- Familiarity with financial products, data workflows, or technology environments.
- Prior leadership of testing programs, assessments, or framework builds.
