We are looking for a Sales Director, Finance to be based in our Singapore office. This is a high-impact, senior commercial leadership role for a strategic executive who will own and grow Bloomberg Media’s finance sector business across Singapore. This role is central to Bloomberg Media’s commercial strategy in Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and expanding our finance vertical—including banking, asset management, wealth management, insurance, fintech, and broader financial services—building deep, strategic partnerships with the most influential institutions in the market.
Reporting into the Commercial Director, SG and ANZ, the Sales Director will take full ownership of Bloomberg Media’s most important and established portfolio in Singapore. This includes managing senior-level client relationships, driving new business development, and shaping long-term sector strategy. With a strong network of C-suite and senior marketing decision-makers, the right candidate will bring executive presence, sector credibility, and a proven ability to deliver sustained commercial growth through insight-led, cross-platform solutions.
We’ll trust you to:
  • Own and lead Bloomberg Media’s finance commercial strategy in Singapore, driving revenue growth across all financial services categories
  • Develop and implement a clear sector growth plan, identifying whitespace opportunities and strengthening Bloomberg’s leadership position
  • Personally manage and deepen relationships with key enterprise accounts across banking, asset management, insurance, fintech, and wealth
  • Engage C-suite and senior marketing leaders as a trusted advisor, delivering strategic media solutions aligned to business objectives
  • Drive new business acquisition while expanding share of wallet within existing clients
  • Architect high-value, cross-platform partnerships across digital, video, TV, branded content, data-led solutions, and events
  • Collaborate closely with internal partners across content, product, research, marketing, and events to create differentiated, finance-specific offerings
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and performance reporting via Salesforce
  • Represent Bloomberg Media at high-profile industry forums and client events, reinforcing Bloomberg’s authority within the financial ecosystem
You’ll need to have:
  • At least 12 years of advertising experience in an international media brand set up
  • B2B experience in a direct sales revenue generating role
  • Experience working with clients in the financial services sector in Asia
  • A strong and credible network across Singapore’s finance community, including senior marketing and business leaders
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value, multi-platform partnerships
  • Deep understanding of the financial services landscape and the marketing dynamics within banking, asset management, insurance, and fintech
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence at board and C-suite level
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation expertise, and consultative selling capabilities
  • Strategic mentality with the ability to shape go-to-market approaches within a highly competitive sector
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and data-driven revenue planning
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
