What’s the role?
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Head of Bloomberg’s Terminal News Products based in New York. The Executive Assistant will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks, as well as possess analytical skills, and should be able to work independently. The person in this role must have experience working in a fast-paced environment, be extremely well-organized and detail oriented. The selected candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively build relationships across the division as well as other business areas and with external partners as well. This person will be comfortable sometimes working under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. Providing creative solutions for every day problems and then following through is essential to ensure success in this role. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial.
We'll Trust You To:
  • Manage executive calendars, scheduling, travel, expenses, and daily administrative operations.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, including logistics, materials, agendas, and technology support.
  • Prepare and proofread presentations, reports, communications, and briefing documents.
  • Prioritize sensitive matters, maintain confidentiality, and keep leadership informed of critical updates.
  • Support special projects, reporting, and business operations initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Independently manage competing priorities and proactively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
You'll Need To Have:
  • 5+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting senior leaders or C-suite executives.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple executives simultaneously.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience managing complex travel arrangements and expense reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
