What's the role?
Bloomberg's APAC Supply Chain team manages the end-to-end supply chain for the hardware that powers our business, including keyboards, flat panel display, PCs & laptops, servers, networking equipment and other critical technology products. Delivering reliable, high-quality hardware to our customers and internal operations is fundamental to our success.
As the APAC Supply Chain Quality & Continuous Improvement Lead, you will lead initiatives that strengthen product quality across the regional supply chain while driving continuous improvement in the processes that support manufacturing, refurbishment, repair and distribution operations.
Working closely with Global Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, Technology teams and external vendor partners, you will use data and structured problem solving to improve product reliability, reduce quality defects, strengthen operational governance and implement scalable process improvements.
This role combines product quality leadership, operational excellence and analytical problem solving to ensure Bloomberg continues to deliver hardware products that meet the highest standards of quality, reliability and operational performance.
We'll Trust You To:
  • Lead product quality across Bloomberg's APAC Supply Chain network, ensuring Bloomberg's hardware products consistently meet quality, reliability and customer expectations throughout manufacturing, deployment, repair and refurbishment.
  • Analyze operational data and customer feedback to identify quality trends, risks, opportunities and identify root causes and implement effective corrective & preventive actions.
  • Develop quality metrics and reporting that provide leadership with clear visibility into product quality and operational performance.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives across APAC Supply Chain Operations, interacting with all internal Supply Chain functions, vendors and contract manufacturers.
  • Develop and standardize end to end processes, operating procedures, governance, audit and training programs to ensure consistent execution across APAC.
  • Lead quality reviews and communicate hardware updates, operational changes and quality performance to regional and global stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across regional and global teams, aligning stakeholders on priorities, risks and quality initiatives.
  • Take a solution-focused approach while managing multiple projects of varying complexity and priority.
You'll Need To Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, Statistics or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of recent experience in Product Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement within supply chain operations in the technology hardware, electronics manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Experience managing projects within a multinational, matrixed organization, partnering effectively with regional and global cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading cross functional initiatives that improve product quality, operational performance and customer outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action methodologies.
  • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies to improve operational performance.
  • Experience managing projects across multiple stakeholders and priorities within a regional or global organization.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across global, cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English.
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization.
We'd Love To See
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience supporting regional or global supply chain organizations.
  • Familiarity with SAP, IQMS, supplier quality management, process audits, and quality governance.
  • Experience using Power BI, SAP BW reporting, or AI-enabled analytics tools.
