The Planning and Campaign Management team plays a pivotal role in connecting client objectives with Bloomberg Media’s cross-platform advertising capabilities. As strategic collaborators, we bring together creativity, data and expert product knowledge to develop media solutions that deliver meaningful results for our clients. We are involved in the full campaign lifecycle, from plan creation through to execution and reporting, ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively and perform against defined targets. Success in this role requires adaptability, curiosity and a proactive attitude. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and is confident working across a broad suite of media channels, including TV & OTT video, digital display, social, audio, print and live events.
We'll trust you to:
- Develop a strong understanding of Bloomberg Media’s audience, platforms, advertising products, and targeting capabilities, and stay up to date with new offerings and product developments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategic and creative single or multi-platform media plans that are aligned with client objectives.
- Use proprietary and industry data and research tools to inform planning decisions.
- Process insertion orders (IOs) accurately and coordinate campaign set-up, ensuring a smooth handover to post-sale teams.
- Partner closely with Sales, Ad Operations and Client Services during the post-sale phase to ensure media plans are driven as intended, deliver against targets, and contribute to overall client success and retention.
- Monitor and analyse campaign results to uncover actionable and unexpected insights that inform ongoing optimisations and help Sales partners deliver timely, meaningful updates to clients.
- Produce compelling mid and end-of-campaign reports that showcase results, highlight key takeaways and support client renewals.
- Support the monthly billing process by partnering with Sales, Ad Operations and Finance to resolve billing-related queries, including third-party IO reconciliation. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external partners.
- Use strong communication and time management skills to juggle multiple priorities effectively. Adapt and thrive in an evolving, fast-moving environment.
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of digital media planning experience at a publisher or agency.
- A strong understanding of media planning principles, campaign performance metrics, and media buying processes.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, their ad formats and the key levers that influence performance.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present meaningful insights in clear, visually compelling formats using PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including knowledge of pivot tables, lookup functions (e.g. XLOOKUP) and charts.
- Familiarity with campaign management tools such as Google Ad Manager, Operative, DoubleVerify and Salesforce.
- Technical ability to quickly learn and embrace new tools, systems and processes. A self-motivated, enthusiastic and detail-oriented attitude. Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities. Strong multi-tasking, time management and organisational skills. The ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external partners.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
