The Finance Admin CFO team provides critical financial support to the Finance and other corporate functions, leading on monthly financial and management reporting, financial projections and analysis of strategic and operational decisions.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for owning key processes and contributing to the financial management reporting, analytics, and operations function of the department.
We'll trust you to:
• Support the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and variance analysis for key finance departments, headcount and expense lines; partner with Corporate Accounting team to support month end close processes.
• Own detailed processes and preliminary reporting for Workforce management, and work with the Recruitment teams on headcount pipeline analysis and reporting.
• Carries out more complex tasks with increased autonomy, while still requiring supervision and direction for overall deliverables.
• Contribute to the forecasting and budgeting process for specific areas within the Finance Admin function.
• Learn and develop an understanding of Bloomberg products and the Finance function that can be applied to the analysis of key variance drivers.
• Develop relationships and interact with key stakeholders, including senior management, to support monthly reporting and variance analysis.
• Ability to develop and maintain financial models: proactively drive insights, provide recommendations, understanding financial statements and accounting concepts & principles.
• Support finance transformation projects, including high impact work to enhance existing reporting processes, and streamline underlying data architecture to support the analytical needs of Bloomberg Finance.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and develop plans to implement changes.
You'll need to have:
• 6-10 years of work experience.
• Past finance/accounting role showing experience in FP&A, business partnering or similar roles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present work product in a succinct and clear manner, influence peers and interact with senior management.
• Ability to be detail oriented, learn financial and operational processes.
• Ability to manipulate large datasets and create data tables & models in excel, and other financial reporting tools.
• A collaborative approach to working with teams in other parts of the organization, to develop mutually beneficial solutions.
• The ability to show initiative to identify improvements to processes and reports and question the status quo.
• Experience with AI, Microsoft products, particularly Excel, and Enterprise software applications e.g. SAP, SAC, Alteryx.
