As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for all aspects of planning and scheduling for the Maintenance department including creation of work orders and PMs as the need arises. This includes the efficient and effective planning and scheduling of resources to conduct activities with minimal downtime and with maximum efficiency. In order to fulfill these responsibilities in the most effective manner, the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is empowered to manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts and materials, and engage the accurate resources to develop a safe, effective and efficient work control plan. In this role, you will coordinate with plant production scheduling to plan and implement preventive maintenance activities, with minimal disruption to production, facilitate work orders by defining the tasks, estimating duration, identifying constraints, and assigning appropriate resources. You will also be responsible for sourcing, ordering, and confirming receipt of parts and materials to support work order completion, as well as evaluating status of work and report problems to supervisor and/or management and provide recommendations for corrective actions, where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in sophisticated mechanical and electrical maintenance scheduling and planning (Production Planning and Scheduling experience may substitute)
  • Knowledge of spare part's inventory/materials and prioritization of ordering critical spare parts
  • Knowledge and experience with multiple different CMMS systems (Maximo, SAP, FIIX)
  • Developed organizational skills and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to chart/graph reports and present to management

  • Outstanding organizational skills with ability to develop short and long-range goals
  • Knowledge and experience with crafting/writing SOP’s and procedures

Desired:

  • Knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project highly preferred
  • Hands on Maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical processes/machines
  • Computer programming/software skills
  • Project management experience (PMP Certification)
