As the leader of military programs, you'll partner with senior executives, Talent Acquisition (TA), HR Business Partners, and business leaders to design and execute programs that build a strong, sustained military talent pipeline aligned with our company’s goals . You'll help shape how we think about talent, development, and military service in a future-focused, tech-driven company. This role reports to the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and launch Blue Origin’s three-year enterprise-wide veteran and military spouse strategy—encompassing attraction, integration, development, and retention.
- Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert on veteran and military spouse talent, influencing hiring strategies and workforce planning.
- Own and manage the military talent program budget, building it in partnership with the DEIA Director and Finance team.
- Advise senior executives and hiring leaders across the company, aligning military talent strategies with Blue Origin’s business priorities and future growth.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to shape hiring practices, develop pipelines for critical technical and leadership roles.
- Represent Blue Origin at the highest levels—building and sustaining relationships with military leaders, government officials, base transition programs, and national partners to position Blue as a top employer of choice.
- Collaborate with the Veterans Business Resource Group and its executive sponsors to co-design initiatives that support connection, belonging, and advancement for military talent across Blue.
- Launch onboarding, mentorship, and upskilling programs that support successful transitions from military to civilian roles.
- Deliver actionable insights to the CEO and executive leadership team using data dashboards, impact briefs, and trend analyses on the performance and experience of veteran and military spouse hires.
- Operate in ambiguity with speed and precision, designing scalable programs that are both immediate and future proofed.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in military program development or veteran outreach at a high level, including 5+ years influencing at the executive level.
- Demonstrated success leading veteran or military spouse programs with measurable impact at scale.
- Deep understanding of military culture, transition programs, and the unique challenges and opportunities facing veteran and military spouse talent, with the ability to translate this knowledge into actionable business strategies.
- Experience owning a program budget and driving enterprise-wide initiatives in complex organizations.
- Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership using insight-driven narratives.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the aerospace, defense, or high-growth tech environments.
Experience supporting hiring initiatives across technical and operations functions.
PMP certification or similar project management credentials.
Compensation Range for:
WA applicants is $152,484.00-$213,477.60Other site ranges may differ

Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification, Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
