This role is part of TeraWave, a satellite communications network designed to deliver symmetrical data speeds of up to 6 Tbps anywhere on Earth. This network will service tens of thousands of enterprise, data center, and government users who require reliable connectivity for critical operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of TeraWave satellite communications network projects from concept development to deployment, including satellite systems integration, ground infrastructure implementation, and enterprise connectivity solutions
  • Lead the software product management lifecycle for TeraWave's satellite communications platform, defining product vision and setting strategic direction for high-throughput, low-latency network capabilities
  • Develop detailed project plans for satellite communications systems, managing implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, and on-time delivery within budget constraints
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, and testers to ensure successful integration of satellite hardware and communications software systems
  • Perform feasibility studies and impact assessments for new TeraWave features and capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise, data center, and government customer requirements
  • Drive product discovery processes to identify key satellite communications functionalities that deliver critical business outcomes and support TeraWave's 6 Tbps performance objectives
  • Own the TeraWave product roadmap formulation and actively participate in execution, balancing technical constraints of space-based systems with market demands
  • Lead the development, testing, validation, and release of satellite communications software by defining clear requirements and coordinating work across development teams
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects varying in size and complexity across the TeraWave satellite constellation's development lifecycle

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 8+ years of product management experience with at least 5 years focused on complex technical products
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-grade communications or networking products
  • Strong technical background with understanding of satellite communications, networking protocols, or telecommunications systems
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for various audiences
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and ongoing product management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in relevant technical field
  • Experience with satellite communications systems, space-based networks, or related technologies
  • Knowledge of RF communications, optical communications, or network architecture design
  • Background in enterprise or government telecommunications solutions
  • Experience with high-throughput, low-latency network systems
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and integration with space-based systems
  • Product management certification (e.g., AIPMM, Pragmatic Marketing)
  • Experience working with international telecommunications regulations and standards


Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $169,624.00 - $237,473.25

  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical

  • Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
