This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.Blue Origin is assembling the leadership team that will enable humanity’s future in space. As Sr. Business Operations Program Manager (PM), Talent Acquisition, you will own the operating cadence, inspection mechanisms, and business insights that drive productivity, accountability, and hiring excellence across the Talent Acquisition organization.
This role serves as the single-threaded owner of TA’s Rhythm of the Business (ROTB)—establishing, running, and continuously improving Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs), performance dashboards, and executive reporting. You will partner closely with TA leadership, Finance, Workforce Planning, HR, and Recruiting Operations to ensure leaders have timely, accurate, and actionable insights to make better decisions.
By deeply analyzing data, identifying trends and root causes, and translating insights into action, you will drive measurable improvements in recruiter productivity, hiring velocity, quality, and candidate experience. This role demands strong business acumen, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to influence change across a complex, fast-moving organization.
Talent Acquisition Rhythm of the Business
Design, implement, and own TA’s end-to-end Rhythm of the Business, including WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, and Annual Operating Planning (AOP)
Establish standardized cadences, templates, metrics, and narratives to drive consistency and clarity across TA
Partner with TA leaders to ensure business reviews focus on inspection, accountability, and decision-making, not just reporting
Inspection Mechanisms & Performance Management
Build and maintain inspection mechanisms that surface risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities across the hiring lifecycle
Define performance indicators for recruiter productivity, pipeline health, time-to-fill, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction
Ensure metrics are clearly tied to outcomes, behaviors, and business impact
Data, Insights & Storytelling
Dive deeply into TA data to identify trends, root causes, and leading indicators
Translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations, lead action across the organization
Partner with Analytics and TA Ops to ensure data integrity, automation, and scalability of reporting
Change Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Drive action based on insights by partnering with functional leaders to define corrective actions, experiments, and improvements
Track progress against commitments and follow through on outcomes
Serve as a catalyst for continuous improvement, operational discipline, and a high-performance TA culture
Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner closely with TA leadership, Finance, Data teams, HR, Tech, Operations, and Workforce Planning teams to drive synergy in operational excellence
Align TA execution with broader company goals, headcount plans, and operational priorities
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Operations, Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field
7+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or analytics-driven roles within Talent Acquisition, HR, or a complex enterprise environment
Demonstrated experience owning and operating Rhythm of the Business mechanisms (e.g., WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, operating reviews, executive reporting)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to dive deep into data, identify trends and root causes, and translate insights into clear actions
Experience defining and tracking operational KPIs tied to productivity, performance, and business outcomes
Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and senior leaders without direct authority
Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
Exceptional organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
PMP, PgMP, or other senior-level program management certification.
Demonstrates operational excellence and program management expertise.
High level of discretion, integrity, and sensitivity to confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Possession of strong analytical skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the workflow for Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams.
Advanced proficiency with data and reporting tools (e.g., Excel/Sheets, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
Experience building inspection mechanisms and operating cadences from scratch, not just maintaining existing ones
Strong business judgment and comfort making recommendations based on imperfect or incomplete data
Experience driving change through data-backed narratives and accountability mechanisms
Compensation Range for:
WA applicants is $134,434.00 - $188,207.25Other site ranges may differ

Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
