WHAT YOU'LL DO


You will join the brand-new BCG Almaty Finance Team as Contract Management Specialist. You will be responsible for the preparation of all the administrative documentation related to client-side accreditation and client agreements, management of such agreements post-signature and supporting the Legal Counsel with the management of a smooth contractual cycle in accordance with BCG policies and best practices in invoicing and payment processes. You will liaise with the Client Engagement Team and the Client stakeholders to facilitate timely collection of missing contracts.

YOU'RE GOOD AT


  • Being responsible for the accreditation procedures client-side by completing all financial/administrative data and collecting the required data from other BCG departments;
  • Providing the Consulting Staff with support in the proposal preparation phase, pointing out potential risks to other involved departments (HR, Compliance, HSE, IT, Legal);
  • Reviewing the financial aspects of the documents required for the contractual cycle (payment deadlines and invoicing cycle) and verification that the Client Engagement Team has collected all the relevant documentation for a smooth invoicing process (always checking for compliance with BCG standard terms and conditions);
  • Daily co-operation with Legal Departement to operate a consistent review of the submitted documentation and approach to various topics submitted by Client Engagement Team;
  • Preparing the documents required for participating in private and public tenders by co-operating with both internal and external legal counsels, with other relevant BCG department (Compliance, IT, HR, Legal Dep) and with financial institutions (for the issue of bid/performance bonds);
  • Proactively thinking when supporting tender participation (i.e. application of BCG terms vs client terms and related escalation processes);
  • Playing an active role in the collection of missing contracts and handling the risk management reporting by verifying BCG standard terms or negotiated terms are correctly applied;
  • Updating the contract database handling both ClientView Contracting and iCertis;
  • Creating and managing the contract archive containing all contractual templates and the administrative archive containing administrative documents and certificates.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


  • Relevant prior experience (at least 3-5 years) in a multinational company (preferably a big four or professional services firm environment) with a similar role;
  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Law;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Strong knowledge of local legislation and implications;
  • Very good communication skills, both written and oral in Kazak, Russian and English;
  • Result-oriented and customer-oriented approach both towards BCG colleagues and clients;
  • Structured mindset with a comprehensive approach, adaptable and fast-learner;
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, with strong precision and attention to details;
  • Strong integrity and ability to handle highly sensitive/confidential material and information appropriately;
  • Ability to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business in keeping with BCG’s values and policies;
  • Ability to understand and manage complex reporting relationships and incorporate multiple cultures;
  • Relevant team-working skills and attitude to work in a dynamic, international and fast-paced environment.
