WHAT YOU'LL DO


This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual passionate about supporting high-level recruitment processes and committed to excellence.

The MDP People Team Assistant will support the North America (NAMR) MDP People Team to ensure a successful lateral Managing Director & Partner (MDP) level candidates recruiting experience. This position requires confidentiality and professionalism and someone who can deliver in a fast-paced, demanding environment with the ability to adapt quickly to change. The MDP People Team Assistant must have effective communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to work independently, prioritize work, and have a proactive approach. This position demands an outstanding ability to multi-task, as well as superior organizational skills. Attention to detail and strong customer service ethic are needed for success.


YOU'RE GOOD AT


  • SCHEDULING & RESCHEDULING: Coordinating scheduling and rescheduling for MDP-level lateral candidate interviews, calls with MDP stakeholders, and leading coordination efforts with search firm assistants and internal assistants.
  • LOGISTICAL OVERSIGHT: Scheduling and finalizing virtual and in-person interview logistics, ensuring clear communication to lateral candidates on time and location, and coordinating with assistants for on-the-ground in-person interview support.
  • DATA TRACKING: Providing end to end lateral candidate management support, including detailed data tracking across various tools, prioritizing time-sensitive changes, and auditing for consistency.
  • FEEDBACK COLLECTION: Collecting feedback with discernment, extracting notable information from emails and call notes to serve as additional feedback.
  • COMMUNICATION & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING: Facilitating scheduling processes and relevant communications with professionalism. Developing strong relationships with search firm assistants, internal assistants, and other stakeholders.
  • NOTETAKING: Documenting detailed candidate-specific notes, to-dos, and next steps in emails and/or during search firm and internal calls, ensuring they are reflected in individual candidate profiles across team tools to ensure accurate and current information.
  • PRESENTATION MANAGEMENT: Updating and maintaining various slides to support recruitment efforts.
  • CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE: Coordinating candidate gifts at offer extension and offer acceptance, managing candidate experience surveys.
  • ADVISORY ROLE: Acting as a thought partner and trusted advisor to your Line Manager, keeping them informed in the candidate recruiting process to guide logistical decision-making.
  • SPECIAL PROJECTS: Taking on ad hoc special team projects to showcase comprehension skills, resourcefulness, and creative thinking.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; prior business experience in a comparable fast-paced environment a plus, particularly in a recruiting/HR or customer service role.
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS: Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. Experience with iCIMS and Eightfold (or other ATS and CRM platforms) is a plus.
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTATION: Highly responsive with strong interpersonal and communication skills, aiming to deliver excellent results and consistent with the firm’s culture and values.
  • ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS: Exceptional time and project management abilities, capable of handling competing priorities efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • PROFESSIONAL JUDGMENT: Highly professional and diplomatic, with the ability to manage confidential information discreetly and demonstrate good judgment.
  • FLEXIBILITY & ADAPTABILITY: Comfortable with changing priorities, open to feedback, and able to adjust to different working styles in a hybrid environment.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


Format:
This role currently requires 3 days a week in office presence. This provides flexibility the remaining 40% of the work week. This hybrid work plan allows for critically important learning, collaboration and networking with our colleagues. Specific days in the office are agreed upon by the team.
Compensation Information:
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
