Center for Consumer Insight (CCI) in India develops strong know-how on the global market and consumers via various proprietary researches, and we combine proprietary and existing tools to tailor programs. Besides, the team has strong capabilities and experience to manage and conduct case-specific researches.
As a Knowledge Analyst (KA) within Knowledge Team in India, you will work in a growing global team, providing consumer research expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.
Additionally, you will support the team in developing existing & new intellectual property and knowledge assets. You will work on commercialization efforts for the topic/sector, in conjunction with business leaders, supporting marketing efforts, conferences and publications.
You will also own daily basis support workflow, activities, and output of the CCI team, supporting teams on ad hoc requests and deliver on need ensuring highest quality responses
You will provide analytical services (e.g. qualitative and quantitative data analysis, comfortable with SPSS and data analytics techniques such as Segmentation, Regression, Cluster, etc.)
You will also help design and execute qualitative research studies – discussion guide preparation, moderation of in-depth interviews and focus group discussion, field work management, agency management, etc.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in your area of expertise
Codifying knowledge and maintaining assets and tools for consumer insight based on different client contexts
Communicating with senior stakeholders, in a credible and confident way
Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
Flexibility and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
1-3 years of working experience in consumer research firms, or experience with other companies / firms focused on consumer insights
Bachelor/Master degree from a reputed university with demonstrated academic achievements
Expertise in primary market research for both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, in both B2B and B2C environments
Experience in questionnaire and interview guide development
Expertise in statistical techniques - quantitative data modelling, Regression, MaxDiff and TURF analysis, Clustering models, customer segmentation analysis amongst other prominent quantitative techniques
Exposure to different qualitative research techniques: focus group (offline and virtual), in-depth/expert interviews, ethnography etc. is an added advantage
Adept at analyzing and interpreting data to identify patterns and solutions, including from surveys and focus group transcripts
Proficiency with MS-Office Suite, SPSS and exposure to any other data analysis tools
Hands-on experience of MR-specific programming and visualization tools is an added advantage
Good understanding of working with online panels
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment

The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.
BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA’s business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
