BCG is continuously expanding its service portfolio through acquisitions, minority investments, and strategic partnerships. As part of this effort, you will conduct analyses autonomously (e.g., company profiling, market studies, and multiple benchmarks), work on target search projects, and support commercial due diligences.

You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 18 to max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.

You are interested in mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and management consulting. You also have well-developed analytical thinking skills and enjoy working in a performance-oriented team. Finally, you are passionate about new technologies and societal trends that shape global business.

  • You are an enrolled student in a business-oriented study program
  • As part of your studies, you have expanded your theoretical knowledge with practical experience, ideally in a management consultancy, a private equity fund, and/or an investment bank/boutique
  • You exhibit confidence of working in an international environment, whereby you also demonstrate business-fluent English communication skills.

You will be part of BCG’s Global Corporate Development team. Locally, you will work with two colleagues who have many years of experience in BCG’s consulting arm. Globally, you are part of a virtual team that is based both in the US and Germany.
