What You'll Do

To support the various functions within the Platinion Operations and People team we are seeking a candidate with strong development potential and passion to fill the Onboarding and Career Development coordinator role.

This individual will work together with CD Team to provide support to the career development and onboarding process for our diverse technology talent pool and to ensure follow up on development areas highlighted in the CD discussions. This role is expected to work independently with consultants/technologists, local HR team, and multiple stakeholders (i.e., CDA, CD Managers, L&D Managers) to support the CD process end-to-end and drive individual track related initiatives and implementations.

Onboarding and Integration (25%)

  • Own and manage the onboarding process of new lateral hires, entry-level hires, and affiliates.
  • Be the handover point of contact from the recruiters gathering required documentation as well as nuanced knowledge from the interview and hiring process
  • Work with local HR system teams to ensure a smooth and seamless onboarding process tapping into the system resources
  • Help manage programs for tracking and enhancing the community and affiliation of Platinion consulting staff, via tools such as the BCG PA affiliation database, the TA affiliation list, distribution lists, local affiliation event tracking, etc.
  • Understand development needs of the new hires and ensure that these are well documented and followed up on in the onboarding
  • Schedule integration meetings with business partners/stakeholder or relevant staffers
  • Issue, analyse, and improve the process based on results of new hire survey
  • Ensure HR data is entered correctly for new hires and transfers into Workday
  • Prepare people update slides for monthly all staff meetings and provide input into global communications
  • Maintain Trello board for Onboarding with the latest information
  • Maintain PLA email distribution lists

Career Development (50%)

  • Collaborate with the PLA CD HR and co-ordinate the bi-annual Specialist Career Development Committee (CDC) meetings
  • Generate/track evaluations and other feedback (e.g., Downward, Upward) on a weekly basis
  • Regular and rigorous follow-ups with stakeholders to ensure feedbacks are completed well in-time for CDC meetings
  • Ensure timely completion of PIFs and Dossiers on Workday
  • Summarize meeting notes in concise meeting minutes for further review
  • Work with CD advisors and advisees to ensure 1-on-1 calls implemented prior to and post CDC meeting
  • Coordinate with PLA HR team to implement CDC decisions, e.g., change of title/status, change of system record, etc. on Workday
  • Coordinate with local HR and Finance teams to implement compensation changes as needed
  • Assist with preparation of regular emails about promotions, new starters, organize promotions gifts, etc. for Platinion
  • Manage relevant BCG HR database to make sure Specialist related data are up to date
  • Maintain CD relevant documentation on CD system in Workday
  • Support PLA HR with Year-end bonus process for Platinion

Key Projects & Processes (25%)

  • Own the monthly communications’ series on integral HR processes through cross-functional collaboration
  • Utilize internal marketing tools for content dissemination
  • Maintain monthly HC reports and support with data analysis/slide writing as needed
  • Maintain regular touch points with staffing/recruitment teams to update key reports on their respective activities


What You'll Bring

  • Master’s/MBA degree plus minimum 2-3 years professional experience in Talent Management/Recruitment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook


Who You'll Work With

You will be part of the Asia Pacific Platinion CD Team. Your direct line manager is the Asia Pacific TDA & Platinion People and Operation Director. Other key relationships are the PLA AP HR, local System HR and L&D teams
