What You'll Do

As an Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Financial Institutions Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, providing industry expertise and insights, working together with BCG case and proposal teams to deliver customized knowledge assets and expert advisory.

Additionally, you will support your topic in developing existing & new intellectual property and knowledge assets, aligned to the Consumer, Private & Business Banking (CPBB) sector. You will work on commercialization efforts for the topic/sector, with business leaders, supporting marketing efforts, conferences and publications. As an Analyst – BCG Vantage you will assist with on-boarding, training and guiding junior colleagues and share best practices within the team.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

• Applying banking industry expertise when contributing to building and deploying a product/tool/data, taking different client contexts into account
• Analyzing large datasets to examine industry trends, or conduct peer benchmarking comparisons
• Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
• Communicating with senior stakeholders, being credible and proactive
• Framing, structuring, and sharing intellectual property, with the ability to write clearly and concisely
• Working creatively and analytically in a time-limited, problem-solving environment
• Flexibility and bring a curious and creative mindset, open for new things and able to propose innovative ideas

• Interacting with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment

What You'll Bring

• Master's degree relevant to consumer banking industry; 1+ year of relevant work experience in consumer banking preferred (or relevant internship)
• Or Bachelor's degree, with strict minimum of 1+ year consulting experience or 2+ years of relevant industry work experience in consumer banking
• Fluency in English
• Demonstrated skills in Excel and data analysis (experience in CapIQ a plus)
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Will not require employer sponsorship to work legally in the United States of America

As an Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.

We expect total annualized compensation for Chicago based employees to be approximately the following:

• Anticipated Base salary $79,000; vary based on experience and skill level
• Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-16%
• 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
• First year annualized target total compensation: $89,586.00
