What You'll Do

The Finance Intern sits in the Contracting Support & Analysis team within the Commercial Finance function. You will work closely with the Contracting Analyst and wider Commercial Finance team to support timely delivering of weekly reporting and analysis. As a dynamic and driven Associate, you will support the team in managing the contracts database and carry out reporting analysis for BCG Middle East You'll gain Insights Into the broader function of Commercial Finance from contracting to cash cycle dealing with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Contracting Team with requests and submitting performance bonds.
  • Updating the weekly contracting dashboard
  • Assisting with time transfers across projects
  • Supporting SAP related tasks for data quality checks
  • Supporting the team on DSO and other wider finance Initiatives

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and individuals across functions
  • You are an independent contributor and owns the timesheet management process to ensure timely results
  • You are able to think outside the box and offer alternative solutions to the teams in bringing resolution to the problem.
  • You have an eye for detail in keeping all finance platforms/tools updated accurately
  • You demonstrate strong organization skills with an ability to consistently meet deadlines and handle competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You are results driven and self-motivated.
  • Ability to demonstrate a professional approach and maintain integrity at all times.
  • Ability to respect all BCG information as personal and confidential

What You'll Bring

  • Studying towards a relevant bachelor's degree —preferably in Accounting, Business or Finance—and be eligible for an Internship- COOP program.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • Capacity to work in a demanding, fast-paced and multicultural environment
  • Strong written and spoken skills
  • Experience in working in a virtual team
  • Intermediate level computer skills; Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
