What You'll Do

As an Office Experience & Events Assistant at BCG’s ACC-Boston office, you’ll be part of the Office Experience team - a collaborative, service-oriented group that plays a key role in shaping the workplace and cultural experience. With a strong focus on hospitality, affiliation, and day-to-day operational excellence, you’ll support a variety of experiences that help staff feel connected, supported, and proud of their environment.

In this dual-function role, you’ll be responsible for both maintaining a high-functioning office and helping to execute events of all sizes, from marquee celebrations to cohort happy hours. You’ll support daily operations, collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Facilities, and Concierge, and deliver service with a can-do, hospitality-driven approach. Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting office operations by maintaining general cleanliness and readiness of shared spaces, conference rooms, and kitchens
  • Coordinating basic maintenance and repairs with internal teams and external vendors; reporting and tracking issues
  • Managing supply inventories and placing orders for office, kitchen, and meeting materials
  • Assisting with mail/package handling, shipping coordination, and courier management
  • Coordinating catering and room setup for internal meetings and small events
  • Supporting execution of events of all sizes—from large-scale celebrations to internal meetings and small gatherings
  • Assisting with event logistics such as RSVPs, vendor coordination, communications, room setup, and signage
  • Supporting pre-event and post-event communications and materials, including invitations and feedback surveys
  • Helping with budget tracking, invoice processing, and vendor management
  • Acting as day-of onsite support for events, including setup, breakdown, and guest service
  • Partnering with colleagues across OE, Admin Services, and functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of experiences
  • Flexing across responsibilities as needed to support team priorities or during peak periods
  • Acting as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, setting the tone for the overall office experience in this highly visible role

  • Greeting visitors professionally, handling guest registration, escorting, and providing visitor information and amenities during their visit.

  • Assisting employees and visitors with navigating office spaces, utilizing the desk reservation system, and facilitating guest IT access (e.g., Wi-Fi, badges).

  • Monitoring the concierge inbox, managing visitor access requests, and printing employee and guest badges while ensuring compliance with security protocols.

  • Triaging and communicating meeting-support requests, such as IT needs or administrative support, to relevant teams for timely execution.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

  • 0–2 years of experience in office operations, events coordination, hospitality, or administrative support—ideally in a professional services or client-facing setting

  • Strong service orientation and attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage logistics and juggle competing priorities with poise

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new systems

  • Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds and to work in-office 5 days a week

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed, especially during events or high-demand periods



Who You'll Work With

Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.

In the US, we have a compensation transparency approach.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

  • The base salary range for this role in Boston is $55,000.00 - $67,000.00

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 12% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
