What You'll Do

You will be part of the Finance team in Baku, contributing to the accurate execution of accounting and financial processes. You will support monthly closings, reporting, and analysis activities, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external requirements. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across Finance, HR, Operations, and other functions to ensure accurate and timely financial information. You will also play an active role in monitoring financial performance and supporting continuous improvement of accounting and reporting processes.

Please note that this role is temporary (12 months fixed-term).

You are good at:

  • Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly updates and business performance analysis, ensuring alignment with Caspian-level requirements;
  • Handling Accounts Payable activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external requirements;
  • Supporting accounting processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and monitoring of accounts;
  • Assisting in project controlling, including forecasting, economics, and monitoring of the lead-to-cash cycle;
  • Monitoring expenses and contributing to cost-control activities;
  • Supporting the budgeting and planning process with reliable data and analysis;
  • Ensuring reporting systems are kept updated and contributing to the refinement of finance process.

Please mind that the role will be focused on the activities listed above, but not limited to them.



What You'll Bring

  • At least 3-4 years prior experience in a professional services firm environment (preferably a multinational company) in a Financial Analyst role;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in Azerbaijani, Russian and English;
  • Advanced level experience with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus;
  • Strong analytical mindset, as well as proactive and strategic approach;
  • Ability to act autonomously and take the lead on urgent subject matters and prioritize workload, managing stressful situations and handling time-sensitive tasks with strong attention to detail;
  • Strong integrity and ability to handle highly sensitive/confidential material and information appropriately;
  • Cooperative approach, ability to work in team.
