Who We Are
As a Senior Financial Analyst within BCG's Commercial Finance Team, you will work in a growing regional team that provides exemplary finance decision support in the allotted practice area. The Senior Financial Analyst will quickly take on significant responsibility and receive frequent exposure to senior customers, including Practice Area leadership. The individual will be expected to proactively contribute to enhance the financial performance of the firm, while providing support and leverage to the team.
This position will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of client cases and management reporting, including:
- Using and championing ClientView which digitizes and streamlines our pipeline, case opening, contracting, invoicing, and case reporting processes
- Evaluating case economics, including project budgeting, forecasting, accounting, variance analysis, and price realization
- Provide financial analysis on project, client, and practice area levels
- Assists in measuring results and ensures invoicing, revenue recognition processes are followed
- Prepare financial reports and analysis to support business objectives and act as thought partner to internal customers (case teams, Managing Directors & Partners, Finance Director, others)
- Prepare materials/content on key financial metrics for Practice area
- Collaborates with a transaction support team in Costa Rica to ensure accuracy across invoicing, code opening, contract compliance and collection efforts
- Supports client team, regional and external auditor requests
- Participates in ad hoc reporting requests as well as supports regional and global initiatives as needed
- Completes weekly review and reporting of work-in-progress, accounts receivable, collections and absorptions to ensure timely and accurate processing and revenue reporting
- Reviews contracts to ensure terms and potential risks are captured and reported correctly
Back up other finance functions and team members as required
What You'll Do

- Creating and evolving insightful, efficient reporting in response to business needs
- Managing and taking ownership for all financial aspects of case management
- Completing and responding to ad hoc requests in a timely manner
- Ensuring adoption of finance policies and highlighting potential risks
- Supporting regional leadership and other key customers by performing analysis and effectively communicating key takeaways and recommendations
- Providing training to internal customers
- Performing other duties as assigned or required
What You'll Bring
- 3-5 years relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA a plus
- Proactive, self-starter with a high level of initiative and resourcefulness
- Experience in professional services environment a plus
- Creates positive and productive work environment and values contribution of others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau a plus
- Conscientiousness, attention to detail, and attentiveness to accuracy
- Commitment to improving and learning new topics and skills; receptive to feedback
- Ability to structure, plan, manage, and prioritize projects effectively
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products with emphasis on Excel and PPT

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
Some local governments in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of base compensation. We expect your total annualized compensation to be approximately the following:
- In Boston the base salary is between $103,000- $127,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
- In Atlanta the base salary is between $90,000- $111,300 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
- In other locations, competitive pay is commensurate with the role and geography
- Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12%
- 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
