What You'll Do
BCG is seeking an Event Studio Manager to join the Global Content Studio on a full-time basis. As the Event Studio Manager, you will lead the end-to-end video studio activation at select flagship events (primarily U.S.-based) and scale event-driven content across BCG’s Global Content Studio. You will define and deliver the studio’s operational strategy—overseeing planning, on-site execution, post-production, and long-term process design to ensure speed, consistency, and impact.
Your role combines strategic content leadership with operational excellence. You will build and refine the systems, workflows, and templates that enable seamless event studio operations, while managing production partners, on-camera talent, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver compelling and high-quality content. This position offers the opportunity to shape a growing capability within BCG’s Global Content Studio and to collaborate closely with senior leaders across Marketing, Communications, and Events.
The Event Studio Manager will report to the Digital Content Director within BCG’s Global Content Studio.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this role, you will own both the strategic and operational components of BCG’s event studio initiatives. You will translate event goals, sponsor priorities, and editorial themes into clear, actionable content strategies and run-of-show plans, defining the formats, storylines, and success metrics for select events. Working in partnership with the Amplification, Events, Digital, and Social teams, you’ll align topics, guest mix, and distribution plans to maximize the reach and relevance of each production.
You will serve as the operational lead for all event studio activities—designing and implementing workflows that streamline planning, production, and post-production across multiple events. You’ll oversee scheduling, documentation, vendor coordination, and quality assurance, ensuring every studio activation runs smoothly and adheres to BCG’s standards for brand, accessibility, and excellence. You will develop and maintain scalable systems and tools (including project management platforms such as Wrike or Trello and AI-assisted tools) to enhance collaboration and efficiency across internal and external teams.
On site at select events, you’ll act as the primary studio lead—coordinating production crews, managing shoot logistics, preparing interviewers, and coaching senior and external talent for on-camera success. You’ll listen to the content and engage the interviewer and interviewee to optimize storytelling and insights. You’ll ensure all footage is captured to spec, troubleshoot in real time, and maintain a high-touch experience for clients and stakeholders. Following each event, you’ll oversee the post-production process, overseeing review cycles, delivering final and social edits, and collaborating with channel leads to ensure optimal amplification.
Finally, you’ll maintain and optimize performance tracking frameworks to measure impact, producing quarterly and annual retros to identify improvement opportunities and inform future strategy. Your leadership will ensure the Event Studio operates as a center of excellence—combining creativity, precision, and operational rigor to elevate BCG’s presence at global events.
