What You'll Do

Business Intelligence and Analytics Services Hub is a centralized global reporting and analytics capability. This hub greatly enhances how our management consumes and uses information in driving better business outcomes. This team is an integral part of BCG’s Global Enterprise Services providing insights & analysis supported by meaningful and accurate information to help guide and influence the decision-making process.

As BI&A Associate, you will be working closely with BI&A lead as a thought partner for one or more business areas with a focus on bringing insights to light through data analysis. The role will be responsible for managing & delivering day to day standard /ad hoc responsibilities related to reporting and analytics needs, using relevant data tools, reporting environment and dashboards for BCG. The role will spend significant time navigating data to support senior management decision making across the globe.



What You'll Bring

• Masters in Finance or Economics or equivalents

• Strong problem solving & analytical skills

• Excellent communication skills; written and oral

• Flexible to work across time zones



Who You'll Work With

As a member of the Business Intelligence Team, you will interact extensively with a diverse range of stakeholders from across the business, both geographically and functionally. This includes, but is not limited to Local, Regional, Global, and Practice Area analysis teams, as well as, the overall Global finance organization.

Finance/ Technical Skills

• Strong conceptual mindset & understanding to be able to interpret the data & understand the implications

• Expertise in MS – excel with ability to build models, excel automations would be an added advantage

Problem solving and analytical tasks

• Ability to structure hypothesis, build thoughtful analyses and bring clarity to previously undefined problems

• Desire and flexibility to work through big data sets with keen attention to accuracy and interdependencies

• Comfortable working with ambiguity, complex and in an iterative environment

• Identify and support process improvement within the team or in cross functional initiatives

Communication, interpersonal and teaming skills

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and changing situations with tact, poise, and patience
