What You'll Do

As the Employee Engagement (Junior) Specialist focused on Riyadh engagement specifically, you will work very closely with the Employee Engagement Senior Manager, the ME Employee Engagement team and our KSA Leadership team to ensure that BCG lives up to its duty of care towards our employees, contribute to building and improving our Employee Value Proposition and drive Engagement and Affiliation across cohorts, specifically focused on our KSA office and employees. You are part of the People structure, reporting directly into the Employee Engagement Senior Manager. You will focus primarily on Employee Engagement

You will support and contribute towards Riyadh based employee engagement activities, contributing towards the engagement of all employees based in or visiting the Riyadh office.

Therefore, the grade of this role may be adjusted within Junior Specialist/Specialist based on the successful candidate's experience, reflecting our commitment to align responsibilities with individual expertise and capabilities.

Your responsibilities include:

Employee Engagement

  • Support and help to drive the creation of an employee engagement program that fits the broader Middle East program and is also fit for purpose for the Riyadh office, ensuring effective and continuous communication with all employees on the program(s)
  • Contribute towards enhancing the existing new hire and transfer experience for those joining the Riyadh office that helps new joiners to integrate into our Riyadh office and community, and builds affiliation within that community (whilst collaborating with other functions that are also integral to the operational process).
  • Nurture a positive working environment by fostering and driving workplace culture and behaviors and supporting the wider Employee Engagement team to deliver on BCG Unlocking Potential initiatives (including but not limited to diversity, inclusion and wellbeing activities across the organization)
  • Stay connected to the CT and BST cohorts, ensuring we are aware of how employees are doing and helping to drive initiatives that support them (Cohort Rep sessions, regular Q&A cohort sessions)
  • Focus on employee engagement aspects of the BCG People Survey and contribute towards driving initiatives on related topics
  • Drive and execute the flagship activities in the Riyadh office (cultural celebrations, Majlis series, Connect events) as well as work as part of the wider team to contribute towards other activities such as the Riyadh Social Team and Leadership events

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and you are experienced in working with multiple dispersed stakeholders of varying seniority.
  • You have solid analytical skills, the ability to navigate details and a willingness to look at data in different ways.
  • You have strong event planning and execution skills
  • You have a passion for people and people development with high integrity, tact, a positive attitude and the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
  • You are autonomous, able to tolerate ambiguity and self-motivated. You have strong self-starter skills and like to “gets things done”
  • You like working with virtual teams, and ambiguity and have the ability to multi-task on different projects under tight timeframes
  • You feel comfortable in both working in detail and understanding the big picture
  • You are a strong administrator, structured and organize with intense workload


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
  • Experience:
    • For a Junior Specialist role, a minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in a relevant field
    • For a Specialist role, a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a relevant field
  • Experience within employee engagement topics or a similar space, preferably in a large, complex organization
  • Knowledge of the local market and culture that can contribute to enhancing employee engagement in Riyadh
  • Experience planning and organizing events in KSA
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English and Arabic
  • Advanced level computer skills; Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense and service-oriented environment
  • Resourcefulness, high attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities
  • You are at ease with digital collaboration tools (Trello, Slack, Egnyte)
  • Ability to respect all BCG information as personal and confidential


Who You'll Work With

You will work as part of the Employee Engagement function and will be collaborating closely with all People Functions, the BCG KSA Leadership team and work with multiple stakeholders, both from consulting teams and from business support teams, in addition to external vendors and providers.
