What You'll Do
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an EMESA Business Development Analyst, you will be part of the EMESA Business Development Team, driving the regional agenda across a broad range of topics aimed at fostering sustainable business growth. These include investments, competitive intelligence monitoring, pricing and revenue management, commercial support, account management and development, and rolling out special projects across our geo systems in the region, supporting the Regional Management / Leadership Teams in multiple strategic workstreams.
In this role you will provide support particularly linked to Pricing & Revenue Management vertical in the team, while also taking part in a wider range of regular day-day projects within the team across the full agenda as described above. Through analyzing the evolution of business development KPI's, you will ensure continuous improvements towards our strategies and ambitions.
Your primary responsibilities would include:
- Support the EMESA BD dashboards - oversee data updates, ensure continuous improvements, and contribute to the development of new dashboards.
- Collaborate with the full team to maintain and improve our platforms: microsites, sharepoints, team folders, etc
- Help with reporting for VBP (Value Based Pricing) portfolio in the region, working closely with the regional and local finance teams
- Work with EMESA Commercial Directors to monitor the regional Master Services Agreement (MSA) portfolio, delivering insight-driven KPI reporting.
- Contribute to driving the pricing agenda across EMESA by conducting internal analyses and identifying opportunities for price moves.
- Document and codify best practices on pricing-related topics, developing libraries and support materials for regional use.
- Translate learnings on pricing into potential L&D programs to increase capabilities of PPPL group
- Prepare and contribute to ad hoc documents and analyses for regional leadership, including content for EMESA Management Team meetings, Growth Board forums, townhalls, PA sessions and the WWOM.
What You'll Bring
YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Using technical and functional expertise to perform quantitative analysis, excel modelling, storyboarding and hypothesis-driven thinking
- Creating well-structured, visually clean outputs (e.g., PowerPoint presentations) to effectively communicate findings
- Paying attention to detail, being organized and working in a structured manner
- Working agile – being responsive and adaptive to changing priorities
- Juggling multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding data structures, variable types, joins, and relational datasets. Building clear, user-friendly dashboards in Tableau. Developing Tableau Prep workflows for data prep and automation
- Displaying a strong customer and business focus – being persistent in reaching key objectives but tactful, patient and flexibility to make progress
- Working closely and effectively with senior stakeholders and building relationship, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Constructively challenging business on assumptions and goals; asking questions that effectively lead to deeper understanding
- Respecting client/employee information as personal and confidential
WHAT YOU'LL BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Master’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in management consulting (either on the consulting track or non-client facing support functions) or in finance / business development / sales departments (or other similar fields).
- Strong verbal communication skills; fluency in English
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; strong computer literacy and facility with numbers. Alteryx, Fabric or Tableau knowledge is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an international environment with people at all organizational levels
- Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment
- Able to prioritize, able to tolerate ambiguity
- Exercises judgment in handling confidential/sensitive information
Who You'll Work With
You will be part of the EMESA Business Development Team. You will be interacting also with the Global Revenue Management team, Regional / Local Finance teams and System Business Development Chairs, and Practice Area teams, with a diverse range of stakeholders from across the business, both geographically and functionally.
