In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop high-performing teams in designing, building, and scaling robust data engineering and backend systems using Python, SQL, and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Glue, Lambda).
- Design and implement AI-driven analytics solutions, apply advanced machine learning and GenAI techniques such as prompt engineering, LangChain integration, and agentic AI frameworks leveraging OpenAI and similar platforms.
- Architect scalable data pipelines and foundations to support enterprise-wide analytics, automation, and AI-driven decision-making.
- Develop reusable, modular, and efficient solutions to enable large-scale data transformation, integration, and automation workflows.
- Work across Data & Analytics teams to drive capability development, best-practice sharing, and a culture of technical excellence across teams.
- Establish and uphold best practices for model development, validation, documentation, and ethical AI, ensuring consistency and quality across all initiatives.

- Expert-level proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience building, optimizing, and automating large-scale data workflows and pipelines.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and AWS services (Glue, Lambda, S3), including architecture design, API integration, performance tuning, and governance best practices.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles — including dimensional modeling, schema design, data quality management, and real-time/batch data processing.
- Hands-on exposure to AI and GenAI technologies, such as OpenAI APIs, LangChain, and agentic AI systems, applied to real-world analytics and knowledge use cases.
- Ability to design and implement AI-enhanced data solutions integrating large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques, leveraging AI for data enrichment, anomaly detection, and automated insights or reporting.
- Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience leading and developing teams within an Agile (Scrum) delivery model, fostering collaboration, ownership, and innovation.
- Strategic and systems thinking, with the ability to connect technical execution to organizational priorities and long-term value creation.
