What You'll Do
As a Global Data Analyst – Senior Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering data-driven solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and business intelligence across Knowledge portfolio. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data and visualization solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Build, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows using Python and AWS services (Glue, Lambda, S3)
- Leverage Python and SQL to integrate, process, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Develop and manage data models in Snowflake, ensuring efficient data warehousing, schema design, and query performance optimization.
- Design and deliver interactive visualizations and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau, transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
Perform end-to-end data analysis — from data extraction, cleansing, and transformation to insight generation and storytelling.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key business metrics, track performance, and uncover analytical opportunities.
Apply analytical and statistical techniques to uncover trends, identify drivers, and support data-informed decision-making.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives by exploring emerging tools, automation opportunities, and advanced analytical techniques such as predictive modeling and NLP.
What You'll Bring
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, or related data-focused roles.
Strong proficiency in Python, with extensive experience in data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Glue, Lambda, S3) for developing and managing ETL workflows and data pipelines.
Proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, and relational databases, ensuring efficient data modeling, warehousing, and querying.
Experience integrating APIs using Python for extracting data from diverse structured and unstructured sources.
Advanced dashboarding skills in Power BI and/or Tableau — including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, LOD expressions, data blending, and API integration.
Good-to-have experience developing predictive models using machine learning methods (time-series forecasting, classification, decision trees, random forests).
Good-to-have familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques such as sentiment analysis, text mining, and libraries like spaCy or AWS Comprehend.
Good-to-have knowledge of Python visualization libraries (Plotly, Matplotlib, Seaborn) for exploratory analysis and storytelling.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
Who You'll Work With
You’ll be part of Knowledge Data & Analytics team within the Knowledge portfolio, collaborating with global stakeholders across functions and regions. The role will be based in Gurugram as part of the larger Data & Analytics group, which supports multiple functions across BCG by driving data strategy, analytics innovation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
In this role, you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to design and deliver data-driven, visualization, and innovation solutions that enhance decision-making, optimize processes, and create measurable business impact across the firm.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
Python-based data engineering — developing ETL pipelines and automating workflows, with strong experience using AWS Glue.
End-to-end data analytics — mining, cleansing, transforming, and visualizing data to uncover insights and trends.
Data warehousing and optimization — designing and tuning Snowflake models for scalability and performance.
Visualization and storytelling — creating compelling Power BI or Tableau dashboards that communicate insights intuitively.
