What You'll Do
As Research Sources Coordinator, you will support the day to day management of BCG’s external research and data sources as part of Content Management function. You will work closely with the Sources Lead and Sourcing Manager to help ensure research providers are available, compliant, and aligned with business needs. You will take ownership of key operational process flows across the research source lifecycle, from contracting initiation through invoicing and payment coordination, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal standards.
You will support the management of a portfolio of research source providers across regions, including renewals, access updates, and coordination activities to help ensure continuity of service. You will assist with supplier evaluations, internal business reviews, and planning activities related to research sources. You will coordinate closely with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and external vendors to ensure contractual commitments are understood, tracked, and fulfilled. You will help clarify contractual terms, access rights, and invoicing questions, escalating to the appropriate contracting team member where interpretation or negotiation support is required.
You will help gather and analyze usage and supplier information to support decision making, optimization efforts, and renewal planning. You will support identification of usage or cost optimization opportunities and help prepare materials for stakeholder discussions and supplier interactions. You will own regular reporting processes, maintaining accurate dashboards related to contracts, renewals, usage, and financial commitments. You will support audit activities by ensuring documentation, approvals, and access records are complete and traceable.
You will coordinate across teams and geographies to support sourcing activities, reviews, and transitions. You will follow established processes and guidelines, escalating issues, risks, or questions as needed. You will contribute to reinforcing appropriate sourcing and usage behaviors across stakeholders by sharing guidance and responding to inquiries. As required, you will help manage the research sources service desk, responding to user queries, resolving access issues, tracking tickets to closure, and escalating complex matters appropriately. You will also help organize and coordinate training sessions for internal users and, where relevant, external stakeholders to reinforce proper usage, access processes, and compliance expectations. You will monitor and escalate service disruptions, access incidents, or invoicing discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.
