What You'll Do

As a Principal IT Architect, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, leading large-scale IT transformation programs in the Banking industry. You will combine architecture leadership, industry expertise, and business development to drive client impact and grow BCG Platinion’s presence.

• Lead definition of end-to-end IT architectures and transformation roadmaps
• Own delivery, quality, and outcomes of large, complex programs
• Act as a senior advisor to CIO/CTO-level stakeholders
• Drive key architectural and technology decisions across programs
• Present recommendations to top management and steer critical situations

Banking Industry Focus

You bring strong expertise across banking domains, such as:

• Core banking transformation and platform modernization
• Digital banking and customer platforms
• Payments ecosystems and real-time processing
• Regulatory and compliance-driven IT (e.g., KYC, AML, PSD2)

You will:

• Shape architecture strategies tailored to banking constraints and regulations
• Lead industry-specific transformations end-to-end
• Contribute to thought leadership and client offerings in banking

Architecture & Delivery Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise architecture across programs
• Lead complex IT landscape transformations and modernization journeys
• Guide decisions on:
  • Cloud, platforms, and vendor ecosystems
  • Integration patterns and data architectures
• Ensure alignment between business goals, IT architecture, and delivery
• Oversee vendors, technical quality, and architecture governance

Business Development & Leadership

• Build and own senior client relationships
• Identify and acquire new opportunities and projects
• Lead proposal development and solution shaping
• Contribute to practice building, recruiting, and people development

What You'll Bring

• 12–15+ years in IT consulting, architecture, or large-scale delivery
• Proven track record in leading complex transformation programs (ideally in banking)
• Experience in client ownership and project acquisition
• Deep expertise in:
  • Enterprise architecture and modern tech stacks
  • Cloud, microservices, APIs, and data platforms
• Strong strategic mindset and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to navigate complex organizations and drive decisions
• Degree in a relevant field; English and Turkish fluency
