What You'll Do

The Talent Acquisition Assistant is a member of the Mexico Talent Acquisition team and provides administrative and systems support for consulting staff recruiting activities in Mexico.

The Talent Acquisition Assistant partners closely with the Mexico recruiting team to ensure a seamless recruiting experience for candidates and internal stakeholders. This role requires confidentiality, professionalism, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while adapting quickly to changing priorities.

The Talent Acquisition Assistant must have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently, prioritize work effectively, and take a proactive approach. This position requires excellent multitasking ability, superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong customer service mindset to support recruiting activities and candidate engagement.

Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will support the complete life cycle of the consulting staff recruiting efforts for Mexico. This includes event planning and execution, candidate pipeline development, marketing and branding related activities, planning and participating in the interview process, candidate communication and relationship building, and all conversion activities. You will work with the Mexico Recruiting Managing Director and Partner (RP) and Recruiting Director (RD), alongside regional recruiting teams to lead and execute the annual recruiting pipeline across OneBCG, including core consulting hiring (Associates and Consultants) from both campus and experienced hire talent pools.

You’re good at

  • Cultivating relationships with candidates, following up with all inquiries while developing BCG presence and positive experiences
  • Collecting and analyzing information and data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, providing valuable input aimed at continuously improving our recruiting efforts; monitor and analyze the competitive environment
  • Managing logistics (planning, correspondence, execution) of the recruiting process from marketing and event planning, through screening, interviewing and conversion, including conversion/welcome weekends and the summer internship program
  • Coordinating programs and events across multiple dimensions and understanding end-to-end planning processes capturing all required details
  • Organizing your roles and responsibilities and effectively communicating updates and progress with team members
  • Managing the Mexico recruiting cadre training, commitment, and performance tracking processes (select and train interviewers, staff events and interviews with the right mix of consulting staff, ensure commitments are upheld, manage swap process, etc.)
  • Communicating logistics information to candidates and staff for events and interviews.
  • Partnering with the Recruiting Central Operations and Analytics team to create and execute system reports and queries.
  • Assisting with special projects and analyses as needed.


What You'll Bring

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 1-2 years of recruiting, HR, or relevant work experience
  • High customer service and relationship orientation - strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly responsive, want to deliver great results at all times, able to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organization and candidates
  • Excellent time and project management skills. You have clear systems and composure to deal with multiple tasks at once, with a great attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when under pressure.
  • Organizational skills to assist with all the behind-the-scenes magic while providing creative solutions, driving our high-level customer service, and positively impacting our recruiting efforts.
  • A strong intellectual curiosity. You’re a creative thinker, interested in the bigger picture, always looking to solve problems.
  • Self-motivated and trustworthy. You take initiative and can work independently, exercising judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information
  • Ability to work overtime during peak recruiting periods (i.e. key evening and weekend events)
  • Advanced Computer proficiency: Windows applications (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Database familiarity
  • Fluent in English



Who You'll Work With

You will work with Recruiting teams, Hiring Managers, Assistants, and candidates in ensuring an efficient and successful recruitment process. You’ll also work with other Business Services team members to back each other up and help each other out when things get extra busy or when someone is out of the office. The team is very collaborative and enjoys learning and mentoring each other. Your manager will be a great resource for support and troubleshooting and will provide developmental guidance and support as you grow your career at BCG. You’ll work closely with your local office team as well as various Talent Acquisition teams across North America, South America and Europe.

Compensation Information

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package.

Location

Mexico City or Monterrey as base location, with limited travel to the alternate location
