What You'll Do

As a Global IT Platform Engineer – Senior Specialist, you will be part of BCG’s ServiceNow for Enterprise Services squad, responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow capabilities that enable enterprise-scale service delivery across the firm.

You will work on a range of ServiceNow solutions with a strong focus on Service Portal, Employee Center, Customer Service Management (CSM), and scoped custom applications. Partnering closely with global stakeholders, you will work on maintainable platform solutions while adhering to ServiceNow best practices.

You will contribute across the full development lifecycle—from analysis and design to build, testing, deployment, and support—while continuously improving platform quality, performance, and user experience. Operating within an Agile delivery model, you will collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and engineers to prioritize and deliver work each sprint.

This role offers a high degree of ownership and autonomy, with opportunities to recommend enhancements, and drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced, global environment.



What You'll Bring

  • 4–6 years of professional experience, including 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Service Portal, ESC and custom portal development
  • Working knowledge of Customer Service Management (CSM)
  • Experience developing and supporting scoped applications
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (client and server-side)
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, security, and development best practices
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • ServiceNow certification(s) (e.g., CSA, CAD) are highly preferred

You will be part of BCG’s ServiceNow team working within a global Agile structure of platform engineers, architects, analysts, product owners, and scrum masters. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across regions to deliver scalable, reliable ServiceNow solutions that support BCG’s enterprise service capabilities.

  • Delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions with minimal supervision and a strong sense of ownership
  • Developing and enhancing Service Portals and ServiceNow Employee Center, including custom widgets and user experience improvements
  • Working with Customer Service Management (CSM) to support enterprise service workflows
  • Working on enhancement to existing scoped custom applications using upgrade-safe and scalable patterns
  • Applying a strong understanding of core ServiceNow concepts, including data models, security, workflows, and scripting
  • Writing efficient, maintainable JavaScript for both client-side and server-side development
  • Producing clear design and technical documentation to support long-term platform sustainability
  • Troubleshooting complex issues through structured analysis and root-cause identification
  • Communicating effectively through clear demos, structured discussions, and data-driven insights
  • Embracing Agile ways of working and adapting quickly to evolving business priorities
