What You'll Do
The Global Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for the operational execution, supplier performance, distribution integrity, and day-to-day optimization of BCG’s global hotel program.
Drive insight-led decision making short and long-term program optimization. The role applies advanced hotel revenue management, pricing, and analytics expertise to optimize cost, supplier performance, traveler experience, and compliance across markets.
Working closely with the Global Hotel Enablement Manager & the Global Travel Director and global, regional, and local stakeholders, the role serves as BCG’s centralsubjectmatter lead for hotel pricing, analytics, and supplier strategy. The role partners with major global hotel chains, the Travel Management Company (TMC), and internal risk, security, and sustainability teams to deliver a high-performing, scalable hotel program aligned with BCG’s business needs.

Operational Program Management
- Oversee implementation of sourcing decisions and contracted agreements
- Ensure rate loading accuracy and availability across all booking channels
- Monitor service delivery and traveler experience
Supplier & Contract Performance Management
- Manage ongoing relationships with hotel chains and key suppliers
- Track performance against targets and commercial commitments
- Address service issues and drive corrective actions
- Lead supplier reviews and performance governance cadence
Distribution, GDS & Content Management
- Ensure hotel content accuracy across GDS, OBT, Mobile, and TMC platforms
- Monitor rate parity, availability, and distribution leakage
- Resolve operational discrepancies across systems
- Manage Conferma payment solution platform and liaise between BCG Account Payable and hotels
Compliance & Reporting
- Monitor booking compliance and policy adherence
- Provide regular reporting to regional and local stakeholders
- Identify operational improvement opportunities
Stakeholder & Market Engagement
- Support case teams with accommodation escalations
- Implement program enhancements in partnership with internal stakeholders
Shared Accountability
- Jointly own the overall performance and success of BCG’s global hotel program together with the Global Hotel Enablement Manager.
- Maintain working knowledge of both strategic and operational aspects of the program
- Provide seamless coverage during peak periods, RFP cycles, or absence of the counterpart Collaborate closely on sourcing, analytics, supplier management, and program execution Partner with the ES Meeting team with their accommodation strategy for major events e.g. WWOM, PA, etc.
- Equip EAs and local office nodes with hotel program training and best-practice guidance.
- Operate as a unified leadership team representing the hotel program internally and externally
What You'll Bring
We are looking for an expert who can bring knowledge to the BCG travel function. We expect that the individual will possess both the “technical” qualifications for the role as well as other “intangible” attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience within the travel industry.
- 5–7 years of experience in hotel revenue management, pricing, corporate travel, or hospitality analytics
- Proven track record of delivering complex hotel contracting and sourcing projects, building long-term supplier relationships to maximize value and savings
- Hands-on experience with hotel and revenue systems, including Opera, revenue management platforms (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto), and related pricing tools
- Strong working knowledge of major GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport) and hotel distribution mechanics
- Experience using Cvent for hotel sourcing, RFP management, supplier evaluation, and event related lodging programs
- Sophisticated financial modelling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel; ability to design, enhance, and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases including multi-level data analysis and BI reporting
- Established track record of leading change management initiatives within global environments, with sensitivity to multinational and cross-cultural dynamics
- Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, global, matrixed organizations and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
- Discipline in execution with a continuous improvement mindset with passion for building scalable, high-impact global travel programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building with both internal and external
- stakeholders; collaborative, strong cross-functional team player capable of partnering across geographies and practices
- Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business and in keeping with BCG’s values and culture.
