What You'll Do
Middle East Career Services is expanding its range of services to include Executive Career Services (ECS) within its offerings. As the ECS Senior Specialist, you will be assisting the build-out of our strategic placement and executive career advisory capabilities in the Middle East. You will focus on supporting individuals through career transitions, as well as working closely with internal and external stakeholders to create and facilitate relevant career opportunities for BCGers and alumni. Career support looks like coaching and advisory for career transitions, CV and LinkedIn profile review, networking strategies, interview preparation, offer negotiation support, and referrals to more specialized career professionals.
You will work closely with the internal Career Services team and key stakeholders to design career roadmaps and execute priorities, including but not limited to:
- Leading the curation and strategic dissemination of senior executive opportunities across internal and external networks
- Advising on the alignment of senior talent (N-1 to C-suite) with high-impact roles, considering both experience and long-term career trajectories
- Partnering with BCG Practice Areas and cross-functional teams to identify, shape, and surface strategic opportunities
- Overseeing the management and positioning of senior-level roles on the alumni job board to maximize visibility and engagement
- Driving the quality, integrity, and continuous enhancement of candidate & opportunity databases to support data-driven decision-making
YOU’RE GOOD AT
Strategic placement and career coaching
- Develop and deliver tactical career development support including job search strategies and positioning, resume feedback, networking tactics, interview preparation and offer negotiation to priority executives in transition.
- Advise retiring senior executives on potential options for boards and other advisory roles
- Ensure equitable and market leading approaches to career transition
- Provide one-on-one confidential career coaching and thought partnering on career management and job search to ensure seamless and integrated experience for senior executives departing the firm
Talent market trends & career roadmap
- Leverage insights from internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., executive search firms, alumni, hiring organizations) to stay informed on market trends and job opportunities
- Contribute to talent mapping and maintain visibility on market opportunities and candidate pipelines
- Support training and knowledge-sharing sessions for BCGers on ECS offering
Collaboration & stakeholder management
- Work alongside PA nodes to cultivate appropriate relationships and account planning priorities for high priority clients ensuring responsiveness to client needs
- Contribute to supply of opportunities through network of search professionals, BCG alumni, and senior leaders who have visibility of CXO opportunities
- Develop relationships with senior alumni regarding not only their own career progression but also their hiring needs
- Responsible for amplifying EPS visibility within the organization by acting as a business partner and advisor to BCG leadership teams
- Maintain and cultivate relationships externally to enhance job opportunities for our network and leverage connections to make the appropriate introductions for job seekers
Communication & teaming
- Operate effectively in a highly collaborative, international environment, working across regions and teams
- Use digital tools to manage communication, candidate tracking, and stakeholder engagement
- Track and report on key metrics (e.g., placements, pipeline activity, engagement) and share relevant market insights
What You'll Bring
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA or other professional degree preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility, preferably within a professional services firm
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working within recruiting or related field is preferred
- Professional network of search professionals and/or corporate recruiters
- Experience/gravitas/drive necessary to coordinate with senior stakeholders within BCG and client network on highly sensitive and confidential HR/placement issues
- Knowledge of collaboration tools preferred: Zoom, Slack
- Adept at recruiting toolkits and platforms: Linkedin Recruiter, Job boards, BoardEx etc
- Microsoft proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Who You'll Work With
You will work within the Career Services team which includes 3+ members Career Services Senior Manager, , Manager and Senior Specialists. You will regularly interact with PA Nodes, Finance and alongside candidates from alumni, client network incl. BST and Consulting, as well as the wider CS and EPS team (locally, regionally and globally).
