What You'll Do
As the SSA Recruiting Manager, you will lead the end-to-end recruiting strategy and execution for consulting talent across the Spanish South America region. You will play a critical role in shaping BCG’s talent pipeline, ensuring the attraction, selection, and conversion of top-tier candidates aligned with the region’s growth ambitions.
You will act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders (MDPs, Recruiting Directors, and People leadership), translating business needs into actionable recruiting plans while ensuring best-in-class candidate experience and operational excellence.
In this role, you will lead and develop a regional recruiting team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure alignment with global recruiting standards, while adapting strategies to local market dynamics.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Recruiting Strategy & Business Partnership
- Own and drive the SSA recruiting strategy for consulting talent, aligned with regional business priorities and growth plans
- Partner closely with MDPs, Practice Leaders, and HR leadership to forecast hiring needs and define target profiles
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing market insights, talent intelligence, and strategic recommendations
- Translate global recruiting priorities into locally relevant strategies and execution plans
Talent Attraction & Pipeline Management
- Oversee the design and execution of innovative sourcing strategies across multiple channels (campus, experienced hires, referrals, and direct sourcing)
- Ensure robust pipeline management, tracking key metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, conversion rates, quality of hire) and driving data-based decisions
- Elevate BCG’s employer brand and value proposition across SSA markets
Candidate Experience & Process Excellence
- Ensure a seamless, high-quality candidate journey across all recruiting stages
- Oversee interview processes, evaluation standards, and offer management to ensure consistency and fairness
- Drive continuous improvement of recruiting processes, embedding global best practices while optimizing for local needs
Campus & Employer Branding
- Define and lead the regional campus recruiting strategy, including university partnerships and flagship events
- Strengthen BCG’s presence in key talent markets through branding initiatives and strategic partnerships
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a regional recruiting team, potentially distributed across multiple SSA offices
- Set team priorities, allocate resources effectively, and ensure high performance and engagement
- Provide ongoing feedback, mentorship, and career development support
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture
Operational Excellence & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and effective use of recruiting systems and tools (ATS, reporting dashboards)
- Monitor and report on recruiting KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities
- Drive regional alignment and coordination across offices (Bogotá, Santiago, Lima, Buenos Aires)
Regional & Global Initiatives
- Lead or contribute to regional and global recruiting projects and transformations
- Collaborate with international counterparts to share best practices and drive consistency

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus
- 6–8+ years of relevant experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR, ideally within professional services or a multinational environment
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing stakeholders at senior levels
- Strong understanding of end-to-end recruiting processes and talent markets
- Experience managing regional or multi-country recruiting efforts is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Who You'll Work With
You will be part of the SSA People team, collaborating closely with Talent, Staffing, and broader HR functions across the region. You will also engage regularly with senior consulting leadership, acting as a key partner in shaping the region’s talent strategy.
