Who We Are

Our strategy? To be anything but typical strategy consultants! Our unconventional nature is embedded deep in our DNA. Over 60 years ago, BCG shook up the world of strategy consulting. Now, it has grown to become one of the world leaders in the field. How do we manage to stay ahead of the pack? The answer is simple: by reinventing ourselves every day and providing a home with diverse career opportunities to the best talent and most creative minds all over the world. And by giving you the chance to make an impact in business and society. BCG stands for authenticity, exceptional work, and strong integrity. Once you’ve become part of the Group, we’ll help you find your path, unleash your potential, effect change, and advance the world.

Attention, please! The members of our Marketing & Communications Team have something to say— every day. No wonder, considering they’re in charge of media relations, events, digital marketing, and digital communications, with which they shape BCG’s image among clients, employees, alumni, and job applicants, as well as the media and general public. Bringing the Group's global thought leadership to the world, they ensure that BCG expertise and studies are placed in the right channel at the right time and continuously develop our communications and marketing strategy.

What You'll Do

As an intern, you'll support our Marketing team, particularly in the areas of digital marketing, (alumni) events & partnerships, and strategy & campaigns. Your tasks will include the following:

  • Support of the conceptualization, planning, implementation, and follow-up of internal and external events (live, virtual, and hybrid), in addition to independent handling of subprojects and activities
  • Support of the development and implementation of our climate & sustainability, digital & tech, and innovation & transformation campaigns—including processes of creative design and content creation for various communication channels—in addition to assisting the team with daily operational tasks and research and market analyses
  • Design and preparation of wireframes/customer journeys for our landing pages in consultation with our communications and marketing experts, followed by implementation of concepts directly in the tool and optimization with the use of analytics

What You'll Bring

  • You are enrolled as a student at a postsecondary educational institution or have completed a course of studies (ideally in business management, economics, marketing, or communications)
  • You're passionate about communication and enjoy working creatively
  • You have gathered some initial work experience, ideally in marketing or communication
  • You're interested in business topics and economic context
  • You have a good command of the software comprising the MS Office package. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar mailing programs is a plus, as is experience working with AI tools and CRM databases
  • You're excited about developing web pages and customer journeys. Optimally, you have gathered some experience with web-building tools and content creation
  • Excellent German and English skills round out your profile
  • You impress others with your strong initiative, high quality standards, motivation, and flexibility
  • You have pronounced organizational talent and are able to stay on top of several topics at once
  • You’re reliable, eager to take on responsibility, and enjoy working in a team

Who You'll Work With

You'll be part of our Marketing team in Central Europe, working closely with colleagues in our offices in Munich, Düsseldorf, Zurich, Prague, Budapest, and Warsaw.
