What You'll Do

BCG has a real estate portfolio of more than 4M square feet across 90+ cities, with significant real estate activity as we grow and diversify as a business and evolve our workplace of the future. Below are some examples of key responsibilities for this role, which reports directly to the GRE Portfolio Insight & Governance Senior Director.


The GRE Portfolio Insight & Governance Manager is an integral part of the GRE Portfolio Insights team, which provides top-quality analyses that inform the strategic direction of real estate actions, facilitate real estate portfolio reporting, and support the evolution of BCG’s real estate portfolio strategy. You will focus on one of the four regional portfolios (North & Central America, EMEA & South America, Asia Pacific, Global Specialty Portfolio) and will be a real estate and analytics business partner coordinating with BCG local businesses, Finance leaders and directly supporting the GRE project delivery and other teams through the real estate project delivery life cycle. This position is built around teamwork, meeting customer needs, identifying trends and shortfalls in the portfolio, and developing new ways of driving change in a culturally diversified portfolio.

Key responsibilities include, among others:

  • Partner with GRE Regional Real Estate Lead on developing and continuously evolving the regional portfolio strategy considering people and business priorities (e.g. Talent Agenda, P&L, Cash, Risk)
  • Own development and evolution of CFO ‘portfolio strategy and activity reporting’
  • Support GRE real estate project delivery teams and local office stakeholders to develop real estate strategies and supply relevant data that balance business priorities within a global framework
  • Develop creative and impactful analyses to drive real estate decisions and direction of portfolio
  • Manage business case development, from designing a compelling story to structuring insightful analyses (incl. data visualisation) and gathering input as required
  • Liaise with vendors and analysts in India who support financial analysis and other analytical work
  • Develop and track project metrics relevant to portfolio performance, identifying trends & nuances
  • Take active role in evolving portfolio analysis and work collaboratively with other analysts to share best practices and process improvements
  • Contribute to continuous development and operational excellence of the entire GRE operating model, support strategies and initiatives by bringing lessons learned and ideas into how we work

What You'll Bring

  • Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field; consulting experience a plus
  • Preferably a minimum of 4-6+ years of relevant work experience in an ideally global and highly professional environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisation skills
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable results and present them clearly and professionally, advanced analytics skills a plus
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, graphs and storyboarding to effectively communicate real estate strategies to senior leadership
  • First experiences/curiosity for how AI can support enabling analyses workflows and creating insight from data


Who You'll Work With

The Portfolio Insight & Governance Manager will work primarily with other GRE Portfolio Insight team members, the GRE Project Delivery Program Leads and the GRE Regional Leads. Due to the functional nature of the work, the role will also interact with various GRE work streams, other global functions such as Technology and Finance team members, and a spectrum of local business stakeholders including senior business leaders.
