What You'll Do

As a service-oriented and trustworthy Payroll (Junior) Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying that personnel and salary data is correctly captured. You will also ensure and carry out timely, high-quality payroll processing, including the posting of payroll transactions in the financial accounting system, and professionally handle all processes relevant to our comprehensive pension and insurance benefits, including documentation and reporting.

The scope of your responsibilities will additionally include providing competent advice to our employees and departments on all questions relating to payroll accounting and acting as a contact for tax advisors, auditors, and tax offices—all while ensuring adherence to our billing processes and standards and their continuous improvement. Finally, your role also includes coordinating with interfaces and colleagues in similar local, regional, and global functions.



What You'll Bring

  • You have successfully completed commercial vocational training with appropriate additional qualification or a business administration degree with a specialization on finance.
  • You also have some initial professional experience in finance—mainly in payroll accounting and preferably at an international service company.
  • Furthermore, you have sound knowledge of the tax and social security regulations relevant to salary (for other benefits, retirement provisions, etc.).
  • You are familiar with payroll programs and their use, ideally including Paisy/ADP.
  • Your German is excellent, and you have a good command of written and spoken English.

Who You'll Work With

You’ll be part of a ten-person team whose members are based in our offices in Düsseldorf and Vienna and whose collaboration is characterized by respect, acceptance, and mutual trust. You’ll report to the Payroll Senior Manager, who will be there for you during your orientation phase and support you in your professional development.
