What You'll Do
As a member of our consulting team, you will manage the design and development of long-term pricing strategies for diverse clients to achieve superior efficiency, revenue growth, and organizational capability.
Specific duties include:
- Perform sophisticated market research, benchmarking, market sizing, modeling, forecasting, and decision analysis to identify revenue growth opportunities through pricing.
- Lead end-to-end strategic projects focused on go-to-market models, including channel strategy, customer segmentation, and value proposition design.
- Quantify value potential from pricing, mix, and commercial execution initiatives using detailed financial and economic analyses.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to ensure alignment between strategy design and execution.
- Lead strategic analyses including identification of demand trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs.
- Support pricing and margin strategy for clients by linking market positioning, cost structures, and customer value.
- Manage case team responsibilities including personnel assignments, research and analysis, and reports to clients.
- Undertake critical evaluation of analytical work performed using advanced economic and financial analysis techniques.
- Oversee and direct consultants and junior professional staff, and oversee project planning and preparation of outputs.
- Present findings to senior client management, and oversee business development and client relationships.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 3 years of experience as a Management Consultant or Business Analyst.
- Experience must include 1 year of experience analyzing and developing pricing strategy recommendations.
- Analyzing consumer, retail, and point-of-sale data to assess purchasing behavior, price sensitivity, promotional effectiveness, and competitive positioning across channels.
- Evaluating go-to-market models, including store formats, channel roles, and customer journeys to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost-to-serve optimization.
- Evaluating product and portfolio strategies, including premium vs. tier 2/3 positioning, regional assortment differentiation, and SKU trade-offs.
- Building financial and economic models to quantify value potential, investment requirements, and return on investment for strategic initiatives.
- Applying advanced economic and financial analysis theories such as competitive cost and decision analysis, capabilities assessment, portfolio review based on financial reports, and experience and scale curve analysis.
- Conducting advanced analysis of scale economies, seasonal effects on financial forecasts, impact of uncertainties on business outcomes, corporate financing policies and evaluation of factors that influence a company’s debt capacity.
