What You'll Do

Working collaboratively with the Global Finance team managing the budgets for our Internal and Impact Investments, CEO Office and Finance and PSG functions, this position will provide the team with support on key finance topics, which will include:

  • Support our Internal and Impact investments team with code opening, Workday allocations reviews, investments tracking and biweekly investments reviews
  • Prepare quarterly investment updates for the CFO and Global Chief of Staff and biannual updates to the EC/OC
  • Prepare month-end reconciliations for the areas in scope ahead of Control Statement sign-off and carry out any necessary adjustments (accruals, moves to prepaids, reclasses, etc.)
  • Share monthly end-to-end reports with our stakeholders
  • Coordinate the budget planning and forecasting process for the areas in scope in partnership with the respective Functional Finance leads and the FBPs in the team, ensuring alignment of functional growth with overall plan parameters and accuracy of numbers uploaded in the systems
  • Prepare end-to-end data files and work with other members of the Functional Finance team to prepare end-to-end functional summaries, highlighting key drivers of growth and opportunities for cost savings
  • Provide analytical support on various finance special projects


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in a Finance environment, ideally part of it in an FP&A role
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience managing high volume data sets
  • Extensive experience with automation tools

The Functional Finance team is currently made up of 30+ people across London, Lisbon and Delhi working to provide financial decision support to BCG’s functional management teams. Your key stakeholders will include functional managers and directors located across the globe and overseeing a portfolio of a variety of business services.
